Damn. It's slightly less than Torrent and Slob, but still very impressive. What are its defense and soak dice pools?

Well then it's not my call. I wouldn't mind, but I'm not sure who would be playing the new character unless you suddenly went from "not sure if continuing" to "I'll play two characters."

ad 2/3: With drugs, I can even up tha ini to 6d6+13ish. Defense is only 7 dice, since it would use bnc's REA + INT. Soak would be 10+ any armor worn. Since we could stuff it into our battle armor I don't know how high the dice pool would be, but I guess around 30 or 35.

The armor would probably put it around 28 soak dice (not looking at math, just thinking off the top of my head). That defense dice is pretty rough, though. It's going to be hit by just about everything. A single FA burst would put him at 2 defense dice.

I'd still recommend it being a kind of mobile sniper platform, or finding some way to make in concealable.

In my experience the best combat drones are the mobile ones with long range shooting capabilities (Bumblebee,rotordrones etc).
They can really help the team with strategic use of suppressive fire.
I haven't purchased the Rigger V sourcebook yet so maybe that's changed.


As for the mage, we could always hire one more runner (and player) .

I don't mind seeing Volker roleplaying another character but I fear he may find it an overwhelming task.
Don't forget, bnc will have her hands full with decking and rigging.

Okay, then no anthro drone at the moment and we stick to the Nissan rotor drone.

As for the mage ... yeah, we can delay that decision. If the team wants to hire a mage at all, we can still decide whether we ask a new player to rp it, or how long we search before we give it up and so on. I don't think it would be that much of pressure since usually it's either hackers OR shamans that are in action. But, yeah, I guess I might regret the decision once worklife has me back in its fierce claws.

Knowledge check to identify what heavy pistol would be capable of using subsonic ammunition, or what would be an easy way to accomplish that with modification.

I'll go ahead and devote two points getting a rank in Animal Handling.  - 3 days
I'll put down seven points for Automatics specialization (Assault Rifle) - 1 month
I'll put down two points for a rank in Heavy Weapons for the new grenade launcher. - 1 day
Eight points were spent on the Qi Focus
And then finally two points for a rank in Assensing. - 1 day

That is 21 Kharma spent.

So with talk of a mage character in the party, I'll hold off on getting the Qi Focus (Astral Perception) Tattoo and putting the two points into assensing. It won't take that long to obtain either when I do get them.

That leaves Slobbertooth with 10 Kharma still to spend. I'll sit on all of it.

If Torrent didn't get one, Slobbertooth was getting one.

It's acquisition being delayed until the mage question is firmly answered because it's a significant investment of Kharma for a character who's advancement relies mostly on Kharma.

By the way: If you want you can exchange 1 Karma for 2000 NY and vice versa for up to 5 Karma per run.
