In one of the recent books it mentioned a phrase that was guaranteed to chill a veteran runner's blood:
It's been awfully quiet at Renraku.

I want people to find out WHY that would chill veteran runners. The kids today don't know Renraku like
us older vets do.

Horrors, Shedim, Bugs, Pax, Deus, Renraku, Ghostwalker, Aden, Alamais, Damon, Feurschwinge, Alamos 20K, Harlequin, all the other Immortal Elves, more on the Vampire cabal, more on the Ghoul Rights issue...

1) I'd like to see the Ordo Maximus get some light shined on them (preferably of the UV variety...) so we can see what they have been doing lately. And more importantly, stop it.

2) Also I'd like to see more bugs. Specifically, like I've said on other threads, I'd like to see what what they've been doing with the abandoned NORAD as hinted in the Denver Box set.

3) The Sehdim always make good badguys. But I'd really like a good story about the shedim waging war on the Voodoo practitioners in the Carib. They compete for the same resources after all. And some of those Hougans would find the shedim an anethma.
Also in the Shedim war theme, I'd like to see the same kind of scenario just against Tamanous. Maybe even and underworld teamup of Tamanous and the Hougans to combat shedim.
The runs from that would be fantastic. Most runners hate Tamanous but would they help them in this case? Maybe One of the PC's is a Voodoo sham and their loa compels them to help.
(Hell I might just start working on this)

4) And I will never get tired of Horror cameos.

I think it's time for Renraku to cause a stir, just because I want to see battle lines get drawn in the matrix again, whether it's a Resonance/Dissonance struggle or Pulsar leading the charge against a new threat (or old threat). Or better, Eliohann and/or the Captain's e-ghosts struggling against Pulsar, struggling against a new threat, struggling against an old threat disguised as a new threat.

Also in the Shedim war theme, I'd like to see the same kind of scenario just against Tamanous.

I was actually considering doing something along those lines in my campaign as a side story. Runners get sent to hit a Tamanous site and bring down the defenses (ostensibly for some biotech corp that's sick of competition with their cloned organ trade), then find out that they were actually working for a Master Shedim that is going to bring through a bunch of other Shedim to possess the bodies.



Bad guys I want to see more of?

-Horrors, and their precursors and pawns.

-Shedim, naturally.

-The new Aztechnology/Shadow Spirit alliance implied by the ending of Ghost Cartels.

-Bug spirits, and their impending takeover of Ares.

-Humanis, and what they're up to now that they control the highest office in the Metroplex.

-Aztlan's secret blood mages.

-Whatever it is that Arleesh's secret mission to collect cursed artifacts is targeting.

I wanna see more of Horizon and just what they're doing with technomancers, myself, given their PR campaign in favor of them. There's gotta be something there...

I want to know why it's so quiet at Renraku lately, too. And I'd like to see more dragons; we've got a war brewin' between metahuman and dracoforms, let's see some more of that!

And finally... I want to see a bit more of those horror cameos, possibly mixed with bugs and shedim.
