Just as an aside, while watching reports on the Occupy Wall Street movement in New York, in addition to "The People's Microphone", there's a strong motion to not have leaders and to settle issues based on ... wait for it ... The Consensus.

There are hand motions for "We like this" and "We don't like this", instead of applause or booing, motions for 'point of order' and 'table this conversation', and it's a weird mix of hippieness and business marketing. Interviewed people keep talking about The Concensus, and every time they do, I glance at my corporate guides for Shadowrun and start thinking.

Kudos, my society-predicting chummers.

Kudos.

The culture is changing at an insane rate.  Borders are coming down as people around the world are better able to see how other people live around the world...

Not to brag, but I predicted this when having an online game (Back when I could play online) that crossed three continents and five countries.

The Dawkins Group knew you were thinking that before you even thought about it. They're that good. Frightening eh?

Not as frightening as the fact that they haven't run away screaming, tearing their own eyes out of their sockets when they do it to me.

Yeah - as soon as I read about the Wireless Skillwires the Evil GM part of my brain said "This is going to seriously mess up some poor 'runner's day..."

Yep. Great way to screw a bunch of runners, especially since metahumans are cheaper than drones, and a lot of runners have trouble shooting little kids. Of course, I fully expect to hear about metahuman biodrones before long. If Deus and Winternight could do stuff like that, the megas should be able to, before too long.
