Oh i totally get armor on a hand of foot counting on a called shot!

There it makes total sense! Not going to begrudge armor working on a shot that actually targets the part its worn on 😃

It just really grates on me that 2 hands and 2 feet = 12 armor for the torso.

HOWEVER: The rules say they can do this. So I just give them my best grumpy cat impersonation and move on.
Where am I going? And why am I in a hand basket ???

Remember: You can't fix Stupid. But you can beat on it with a 2x4 until it smartens up! Or dies.

well, you can have an alphaware arm and a deltawear leg right? Or even a used arm and a delta torso?

Yes but those are separate systems. Modular Connector systems are all taking Capacity from the pieces higher up the system. Meaning that the Hand is "IN" the Lower Arm which is "IN" the Full Arm. Anything taking Capacity has to be the same Grade as what's it's going into. That would be just as true for Cybereyes in Eye Mounts installed in your Cyberhand, they all have the same Grade as the Base Limb.

Okay, While hand and fore arm are "in" the other one, What about the shoulder mount? That one isn't in any thing (Why can it not be in cyber torso is beyond me.)
Concepts are great, but implementation sucks. Why not improve it?

You can't put a modular connector into a cyberarm? Bummer.
You could buy one for 0.3 Essence, however.
Or just pick a modular arm, and attach it where it's supposed to go.
Still waiting on a Vector-Thrust Liminal Body.
