Yelena carefully rides the Scorp to near the edge of the crowd at the bridge.  It seems that the Dragons are still going at it, so Marco's mojo is still working.  She sees several of the gangers cavorting madly, naked and trying to couple with almost anyone who is near.  A couple of emergency vehicles are on the bridge and some medics are trying to make sense of the orgy.  Any bodies from the van are likely to have washed down river by now, but Yelena could see several flashlights pointing into the water from the bridge.

She takes her cue from the Troll and pulls up next to the larger bike before dismounting, making sure that Chesh was also off and standing near her.  She did not have to say a word and the halfer was right where she should be.  Her Srui revs up the bikes and they take off to return to the chopper shop.  Yelena takes a moment to survey the activity to determine the best route to the cars.

When they get to the scene almost two thirds of the Jade dragons are incapacitated in one way or another. But, it's a very dangerous scene as fights have broken out among gangers over partners. The news anchors are stationed well away from the mayhem and the reporters are only just able to contain their glee at what's sure to be an international story, whatever that story happens to be as they're unsure whether to focus on the accident or the completely unforeseen consequence of an orgy in the streets as a possible result of it. However the two vans that are their target are on the far side of the mayhem nearer the bridge. Yelena and Tusks and the gang see that one of the Doc Wagon vans has parked almost next to it and it's partially hidden from most of the ganger viewpoint. The other van is partially .on the bridge, the nearest gangers more than three meters away.

Yelena keeps her hand on Chesh's shoulder as they walk forward,  looking at the scene in amazement.  Marco is indeed a powerful mojo slinger to be able to incapacitate the gang with one spell.  Shaking her head she whispers to Tuskaloosa.  "Tusk take van near Doc Wagon?  Yelena get other.  Looks like drive straight to choppers out.  Drive in circle get back?"

When Tuskaloosa had first passed in the opposite direction there had been chaos.  What she took in now was still chaotic, but where before the chaos had been more organic, the arrival of reporters and rescuers had made the scene more scripted: the mayhem hemmed to a region slightly larger than a recorder's field of view.

It was still impressive.  She stiffled a wince at the sound of a bullwhip: fighting over each other or S&M, she couldn't tell from her distance.  Not that it really mattered...the place was a zoo:  all it needed was a couple of Snac-Safari drones in the air and an AR plaque with habitat-and-territory information.

Yelena's disembodied voice nearby broke her out of her reverie.

She listened then sighed.  “I'd rather take the one closest to the action... but if anyone does notice, you look more like a Jade Dragon than I do.  So yeah, I'll take the one near the DOC.  As for driving—I'm leaving the way up to Chesh and Hatter, so just go where your Shotgun tells you to go.  We'll meet up where we meet up, okay?”

Yelena acknowledges Tuskaloosa's remark and begins to move off to her target van.  Passing right behind the crowd, she is sometimes close enough to reach out and touch someone but resists the urge.  Reaching the van she is surprised to find the door unlocked.  On consideration, though, the driver would have just witnessed the RV going over the bridge and had likely just ran to see if he could help.  Not that locking the door would have made a difference, since the gangers inside had left the side door wide open as they piled out.

Entering through the open door, Yelena and Chesh climb into the van, making sure to leave the door as it is to avoid alerting anyone of the impending transfer of ownership.  Yelena moves to the driver's seat, checking for the keys but finding none.  She grins, one cannot get lucky all the time.  Pulling her DNI cable lead from its hidden location, she plugs it into the port receptacle of the van.  Now connected to the vehicle, her first action is to disconnect the wireless feature so that any rigger in the ganger group cannot mess with their escape.  Not bothering to look at the passenger seat, she whispers, "Where Yelena drive?  Not go back same way.  Chesh have route?"

@ Yelena & Tusks  Chesh whispers, "Fighting with the controls and locator beacon. Gimme a minute. It aint easy ya know!" Chesh pops herself in the seat and all her concentration is absorbed between her hands. It takes a long moment, but then she looks up gleeful. "That's fucks 'em over proper. 'hey couldn't follow us now iffen we were glued to 'ere girlfriends arse!" Hatter is gleeful at the scene and has to be dragged to the van and once there he pulls out a small device and then gets to work, But, it's not easy, and with his concentration broken by the site of one or another of the Dragons going down he's having trouble. He's running out of time and knows it, Tusks hears, "Third times a charm." muttered intently. And it must have been as Hatters shoulders suddenly relax. Then, "Beacon, beacon, who's got the beacon." he's concentrating on the job now mercifully, as Marco's hold on the Jade Dragons won't last forever. Already more than a third are free of his influence. And bleary eyes are occasionally turned their way. But, their luck seems to be holding and Hatter announces, "I've got the beacon bitches!" A head turns towards Hatters voice and seems to see the little gnome.

The few moments of waiting did little good for Arc, already feeling itchy.  Knowing that she had teammates...friends, family even...out there risking their necks for the opportunity before them and to pay their debts to these choppers while she sat nursing her wounds was not acceptable.  I'm hurt, not dead, frag it.  Impatiently, she stood up and gritted her teeth, visibly wincing as her cracked rib protested her movement.  Furrowing her brow, she looked down at herself, and then glanced to the halfer Alyce who remained with them.

"Cloth and Tape"

Three words, but the halfer seemed to get the message, and in seconds, a roll of cloth was pushed into Arc's hand.  Smiling a little in thanks, the human wasted no time in pulling off her jacket, placing it over Firefly for warmth.  She even gingerly pulled her burnt shirt up over her head, a bra keeping her decent while exposing her skin, including the multitude of scars on her back from her upbringing.  It was clear this wasn't the first injury of this type as she grabbed the roll of cloth, proceeding to wrap it around her torso, adding support to her ribs and stablizing them to prevent further aggravation.  Once she was down, a few strips of tape held the whole thing in place, the girl wrapping herself from her bust to her belly button.

This whole time, she kept an eye on the camera feeds and directed the bikes on their automated routes, having them pull up near the chopshop for safe keeping.  Since the team was invisible, there was not much for her to see on the bridge besides what all the reporters could see...still, it didn't hurt to look.  She may not be there, but she's got them on comms...if she sees anything, she'll be on it.

@ Arc. At least that was the plan. Halfway to their destination Arc began losing control of the bikes. She felt her bike self begin taking a tangential trail and then she lost her control of the bikes. Directing a flyspy to see what the frag was up she saw two orcs on the bikes directing them away from her.

Some people have way too much money, Tuskaloosa thought as she stepped into the open Rover.  She released her “partner” onto the passenger seat—she practically had to scruff him like a kitten to keep him going in the right direction—then quietly adjusted the driver's seat and slid in.  Although not specifically designed to be troll-friendly, the lavish price tag left plenty of standard “optionals” that would leave any large-bodied individual happy...like positionable command chairs.  It was still a little on the small side, but at least her knees weren't under her chin.

There was no point verbally haranguing Hatter—his hoop was just as much in the cross-hairs as hers if he didn't deliver—but she felt a trickle of sweat slide down her neck as he muttered “third times a charm”.
Stay calm...  She focused on the way ahead.  It would be a tight squeeze between the Citymaster and the bridge rail, and if anyone stepped around the other, equally massive van—Docwagon medic, snoopy reporter or buzzed Jade Dragon—she would have no choice but to run them over.
And she would.

His shoulders finally relaxed.  “Beacon, beacon, who's got the beacon?”  he sang quietly to himself.
The troll exhaled the breath she'd been holding.  Quickly she took stock of the controls, found the door locks and stared sealing up the automatic side door.  The windows were down—it was the shotgun's that mattered most to her though—but too many movements too quickly was bound to be noticed.

And there were more eyes not elsewhere, with the number increasing with each passing minute.
The door mercifully finished its trip and sealed with a click.  She pulled the passenger window toggle--

“I've got the beacon bitches!”  the dwarf shouted triumphantly.
The privacy-tinted window closed up, but not before a ganger's eyes widened.

Tuskaloosa grabbed her door handle and threw her weight at her door.  The van trembled. She leaped out of her seat shoved at the opposite door.   “Get us some loud music and moans about bacon, or we're dead meat,” she hissed.

She was exhausted and sure her shoulders were black and blue by the time the ganger turned his attention elsewhere.

@ Tusks  It took Hatter only a moment to divine Tusks plan and he started peeling in raucous laughter. He found a rock station  quickly and began crowing, "Bacon, bacon! Yeah baby, I'm covering your ass with bacon and eating it off of you!" Tusks had to admit his descriptions of where and how we was going to place and eat the bacon showed imagination and a very willing spirit.

Yelena unholsters her pistol and places it on the console between the seat within easy reach and gives her rifle to her companion.  "Chesh hold rifle.  Chesh not drop.  Chesh not throw from window.  Chesh not chop.  Just hold.  Can shoot ganger if come."  She looks the dashboard over to familiarize herself with the various controls then puts the van in gear and slowly moves off, heading in the direction Chesh indicates.  As the van picks up a bit of speed she hits the button for the automatic door closer and the open side door of the van hisses shut.  Her DNI cable gives her the control she needs to get the vehicle moving away from the bridge.

"The frag.."  A puzzled look had formed on Arc's face as she looked in the feeds to see her bikes...her responsibilities in this half-fragged operation now...in the process of getting jacked by a couple of orks looking for a free ride.  Of all the likelihood...figure..s  Slapping her head, the mechanic finished binding herself before finding a comfortable place to sit, laying down on the gurney she came in on as she let herself slip into cyberspace.

There, she felt less pain, but still felt a bit out of it as she loaded an orkish persona not unlike herself...just with pointed ears, tusks, and green skin, dressed roughishly as she deleted her warrior persona.  The process took all of a couple seconds as she found the bikes' icons in the 'Trix, jumping into the King Scorpion to take control.  No manual operation will affect this bike now, and now for the other...

How do you like this fragger...  Opening the throttle, Arc pealed off for a good few meters before coming to a hard stoppie, whipping around on the front wheel to face the other Scorpion, attached AKs emerging and leveling on the other guy.  Regardless of whether the one ork held on or not, she took off towards the other bike, playing a sadistic game of chicken, gauging that these punks will bail before anything drastic happens...

Even with all the different emotions both magical and natural that are going through my mind I cannot but not see the two opportunists that jacked the bike. For the meanwhile Arc seem to be enjoying herself.  I doubt I could actually drive this thing with all that distractions and my lack of skills. I observe the feeds and wait to see if it works, if it does not seem to work, I'll ping Tuska to see if she is free to remote control her bike.

@ Arc  The flyspy shows both Orcs fighting for control of the bikes. And the one on Yelena's bike is clearly trying to spike the rig that's allowing Arc control of the bike.

The frag...okay, time for something clever...  Arc was feeling a bit frustrated trying to fight both of these guys off, and knew that she would have to answer if she lost any of them.  Still, this was proving to be quite difficult, so she had to be responsible and let the team know...

"Hoi, chummers, got some hoops what think they can make off with some bikes in transit.  i'm shaking em off, but they finna spike my rigging.  Do yo thang, lemme know if I get an assist, aight?"

And with that, Arc decided to take things up a level.  Before slipping out of the King Scorpion, she blared the horn, much akin to her letting out a yell, before opening up one of the AK's, firing a few warning rounds towards Yelena's bike.  Immediately after, she killed the engine and then switched her control, jumping into the smaller bike and opening the throttle, the front wheel lifting off the ground as she took off towards the big one.
