Okay, this fight is supposed to be tough, give you guys a taste of getting ambushed, and heightening the tension, but not a TPK or even a Partial TPK. So I am going to use this as a teaching example for our newer player.
Near as I can tell, (let me know if I get this wrong, Mercy) Snow is doing her job, making sure everyone stays up and in the fight. She is low-crawling from one car to the other, which is just movement, you get that over the course of the turn. She has two passes, and looking is a simple action, actively looking for a specific thing (like a hidden attacker) actually gives a bonus to that roll (+3d6), which she has two of in a turn. Readying a weapon or firing a gun are also simple actions. A physical attack is a complex action.
To this point, she has declared movement and taken 1 simple action in 2 passes, which she didn’t do to full capacity.
To speed this along, I will roll some for you if that is okay.
7d6 is a reasonably good chance to see with a Threshhold of 2 , so Edge before the roll is not something you want to consider.
Intuition 4 + Perception 2 + Actively Looking 3 - WM 2 =:
7d6t5 2You see it and you are readying a weapon, you also now get a defense roll when it attacks and will use Armor to defend the hit.
