Does Banishing have any effect at all on an Insect Spirit that has successfully inhabitated a vessel, either Flesh, Hybrid, or True Form?

From what I can tell with how Insect Spirits work, once they successfully Inhabitate, Banishing should no longer affect them.  An Insect Spirit that had just been summoned would still be able to Banished like a normal Spirit.

If the Insect Spirit had successfully inhabitated a vessel and was Banished, the only effect I can see is that the Spirit would lose any services that it owed to the Insect Shaman.  The Spirit wouldn't return to its home Metaplane though, even a Trueform spirit in Astral form that was Banished.

Am I correct?

Yes.

An inhabiting spirit permanently merges with a prepared vessel, and cannot be separated with Banishing or even by the spirit’s choice.

Deplore killings made in the name of religion. Can't it just be for fun?

Thank you!  I knew it was in there somewhere, but I kept reading different sections and missing it.
