I`ve just watched CNN. Definitely Dystopian Cyberpunk and also lots of Neon lights. Probably Gibson inspired.

too much on the fiction side for my taste. I prefer more down-to-earth settings. Also not actually a movie  ;)

Far to serious and not enough on screen action.

The Nasty Boys (movie version). I can see LoneStar building a team like that.

The Big Hit (Mark Whalberg, Lou Diamond Philips) - A nice light hearted action/crime romp. Good for seeing the 'good guy' in a run, and general shadow politics and backstabs.

Also, I second Burn Notice. It's good on the 'clever ideas' side of things.

also good showings of how a run or runs can go horribly wrong
May god grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, to change the things I can, and the firepower to make the difference.

Suicide is never the answer, now homicide on the other hand, that has posibilities.

7.62 Russian, when it absolutely has to be done under budget

But did it have street vendors selling noodles?
You can't tell me what toys I can play with.

Nope IMO, well in some rare oportunities it had colour of the television tuned to the dead channel...

Lucky # Sleven is another I'd put up there. While it lacks any tech themes, it has the dystopian setting of untouchable criminal empires, gray shades of morality from the protagonists, and corrupt law enforcement.

I feel obliged to chime in with a classic that I'm surprised no one has said yet. Hardware, from 1990.
A horror/thriller flick set in a dystopian post-apocalyptic cyberpunk-ish future. And the "creature" design is amazing, imo.

Definitely worth checking out!
