Starting playing shadowrun for the first time in about 10 years a week from now. Trying to get to grips with the lethality of of this edition I made a simple DPS (damage per shot(s)) calculator at anydice.com. Quick search didn't find me anything like it on here, so I decided to post it.

Tohit (skill+stat+mods)
Avoid (reaction+skill+mods)
Damage (Weapon DV+ammo/other mods)
Resistance (Body+armor+ ammo/other mod)
and then pressing calculate
- it gives some statistics like average damage, chance of every amount of damage and so on. It's not very polished, for example you can get negative damage if Resistance is higher than than Damage+1 but it's perfectly serviceable at finding the difference between narrow and wide burst for example.
