So, I've gotten my timeline from shadowrun.wikia.com. . .
Is it accurate? Why wouldn't it be? I don't usually have access to books - only when I'm putting pen to paper and working out stats.
If it's inaccurate, the character I've posted most recently will probably need to be rewritten entirely, or at least in part.
Let me know, folks. Thanks

The best timeline out is in the books. Anytime you deal with Wiki, you run the risk that material wasn't entered correctly by the editor, or they might have even tried slipping fan-fic in to make it seem canonical. That said, pick up the SR4A core book and the Sixth World Almanac.

Thanks man. My brother has them, but he's off at college now, and I can only use the books when he visits. Would you mind looking at my character critique post? I understand you're busy.

I'll try to get the books when a little money swings my way. :P

I agree with FastJack.  Also, the official SR4 site still has the history only up to about 2060.  Best bet are those two books.

Hey 'Jack, you helped me out a while back with a listing of books and when they were set in the timeline of events. Is there an updated one that includes more recent releases?

I'm also curious about what year(s) the various adventure books and Missions take place. IE. (I think) Dawn of the Artifacts spans from around Ghost Cartels to just after WAR!, but I'm not sure. Missions Season 2 takes place during Emergence, maybe. These Horizon adventures I'm completely lost on when they take place.
Look past the lies, and all the scary stuff that remains is the truth.

Jack keeps some essential research bits in this post here; he updates the opening post when there's something new.

Absolute necessity for a lot of things. They're all updated through Hazard Pay.
