Our first and favorite fem free spirit.

Now, I've heard rumors that she's vanished -- into the Tokyo shadows, into the Seattle shadows, maybe just poof disappeared completely (??).  Any truth to these rumors, anyone have quotables and citations?  I'm doing some writing, and Buttercup features ... off-camera, but significantly.  Information would be helpful, rumor ... well, maybe still helpful.

According to Corporate Guide, she's still active in Evo:

Buttercup
     The free spirit Buttercup has been around for nearly fifty years. She owns a large stake in Evo; together with Yuri’s stake, the two hold a controlling interest in the company. Buttercup doesn’t talk much about where she comes from, but it is known that she was a friend of Dunkelzahn before his death.
     Buttercup maintains two adjacent offices. She spends most of her work time in the first office, which houses her desk and that of her secretary; like Yuri’s office, it has no door. Her second office has no doors, windows or any other means of entry; this is her private office that she keeps for private work.
     Buttercup formerly advised the Japanese Emperor, but in recent years she has turned her attention toward the Russian elite. With her guidance, along with investments from Evo, the Russian government has been making gains economically and socially.

Wonder if she enjoyed the comics Dunkie left her.  At least she doesn't have to worry about acidic oils from her fingers on the delicate pages.

I still prefer the two images in the Yamatetsu section from the SR3 Corporate Download, though -- the lead-in Japanese girl walking through the snow, and the close-up of the impish face.

In any case -- as I said, I know (roughly) what the books say; what I'm trying to get a finger on is the rumor-mill and plots and plans amongst the PTB.

If you think dealing with a Dragon is difficult, a Free Spirit doesn't even think like a Mortal does.  Yes, even Dragons admit they're only mortal, just usually not to food.
