planning an encounter featuring a few Mantid spirits and can't figure out if they should be considered free or not by the description given in street grimoire.
The text regarding spirits becoming free seem to only focus on the typical summoner relationship with spirits, that being that a bound spirit of high enough force has a chance to become free once its services have been expended, but it doesn't seem like insect spirits work in the same manner.
Considering they do not require a queen or insect shaman to reproduce and have a habit of consuming the original meta-human foolish enough to try and control them. Does this result in all the Mantid spirits previously summoned becoming free? If a free mantid spirit uses the inhabitation mechanic and creates another mantid spirit is it also free or is it only the original?
