Quick clarification question in Switching Resonance streams:

I currently have a TM following the Machinist Stream,  but he wants to get cybernetics and switch to the Cyberadept Stream for submersion to get his Res back, then switch back to Machinist.

Does he have to pay the 20 Karma for each switch? I know they can only follow one at a time, and he doesnt have to Complex Form for either stream, so that's not an issue, just two daring about the switching cost.

That's not how Streams work. You're not really a vegetarian if you just eat a salad on a date with a vegetarian to seal the deal,  then eat a cheeseburger the next day =] But if the storyteller allowed it, then pay the Karma for each switch.

I think that if you switch stream, I'd act as if you never took the first stream. So if they get Resonance back from Stream 2, then switch to Stream 1, I'd make them lose the Resonance again.

That seems legit. I thought that might be the case, was just something I was wondering cause it doesn't explicitly state one way or the other in the rules
