Simone stops and takes the stim patches with a grateful smile. "Thanks, Wheely.  Take good care of the van and the cargo inside it, please.  We'll check with you later."  Separating from the rigger, Simone, Nyx, and Irris continue on to the bunker, hoping to be in time to help their teammates.

@Kynos, Ayato It takes less than a second for Kynos's mind to adjust to the left/right flip. In this moment Kynos could see that there is no door where he sees operation's door. It is a heavily fractured but still standing wall. Interesting enough there is no blood on that wall, but many small metallic objects from the fragmentation grenade. It only works for a moment as Kyno's mind makes the necessary adjustments and then he sees the normal operations door.

@Everyone else: As you drive in the van you notice the fierce battle happening with the fire spirit. The soldiers have activated some sort of irrigation system and covered themselves with water. Their counter attack is fierce, and includes targeting it with water hoses. The spirit seems to be preoccupied in fighting some invisible opponent and is greatly out numbered.

It is not difficult to sneak by the combat as you drive, simply because all eyes are on the huge spirit that nobody notices the two cars. When you arrive at the compound you see two large steel lynx drones watching the entrance. You saw them earlier, they needed to be mounted on top of a truck to be operated.  A bit to the distance you see what appear to be two dead bodies, you'll need to get closer to inspect whether these are your friends - but are you certain that the lynxes are disabled?

As Wheely climb into the van he feels like a kid with a new toy, thrilled to try his hands on the van. It's only after he has gone through all the command that he register the magician presence.

"Oh uhm, hey Maxwell, don't worry I will drive smoothly we want to stay sneaky for now. I won't be too talkative though, have to drive two vehicles at once."

Unless said otherwise (like an @kynos at the start of the message) my Matrix messages are send to the whole team so they should know about the drone.

By the way I'm not gonna drive the vehicles in the middle of the farm area, the objective is to move them in a more seculed place (but close enough for a getaway) before high response team come in.

As they pass the spirit, Simone sends a message to the team members that she can still talk to.  >>Hey, the soldiers seem to be preoccupied with the spirit.  If we stop to help it, we might be able to save it and have it follow us, otherwise, if the soldiers defeat it they will be able to attack the van.  Opinions?<<

<<Ayato, as expected this is an illusion, the door isn't actually here - or if it is it's a hidden door. We'll have to secure every room and look for the real entry. If you drag your sword across the walls, we should have a good chance to detect other illusions hiding the door as well.>>

Kynos felt the time pressure, but didn't let that affect his work. Steady wins the race after all...

The operations room remains hidden for a while longer as Ayato and Kynos are attempting to find a secret passage or a hidden door. This takes a while as it is like searching for a needle in a hay sack.

Inside the control room another message fires

---> E1 to command, we have magical intruders at the main building second floor. We are stalling but we cannot see them, we only see one intruder but clearly there are at least two. We cannot engage without some magical support, where is that counterspelling?

--> Keep waiting  E1, we have problems outside. Mage is busy, static defenses should keep them busy for a while.

--> Rigger 2 to command --> Drake is bleeding, left hand. Drones are malfunctioning again, they refuse to fire. 
Where is the darn decker! I cannot work like that.

--> Celebrity1 to command, Celebrity is leaving please provide escort, boss saw the fire spirit and decided to bail.

Maxwell arched his head towards the younger man from the mention of his real name being used.  Normally, the mage would be more cross on someone other than a lover for using anything but his street handle during a job.  But he liked the kid.  For the most part.  "We up to a first name basis already?  Feels a little too soon to me.  Oh, and yeah, don't worry about keeping me entertained.  I'll be fine."  Turning back to the ongoing battle outside.  Maxwell watches from safety as his spirit struggles to put down the surviving men.  Half wondering if it'll get the job done without some additional aid or support before being disrupted.  Uncertain, he send a message back voicing these concerns.  <<I'm not sure if they did a magic trick of their own and pulled those fire hoses out from their asses but it could pose a legitimate threat to the spirit.  I'm in favor of taking a few pot shots at the soldiers in order to discourage them sticking their ground.  Otherwise i'll order the spirit to retreat for now and come back later.>>

Noëmie follows from behind, mainly because she doesn't want to stay alone. Mostly, she finds the utter disregard for the consequences of their actions of some members of the group to be disturbing at best, to say nothing on the value of life. It's not like she has any weapon in hands anyway: the small taser she has in her holster is completely out of its depth, and she doesn't even bother taking it out. She takes some precautions, but other than that, there's not much she can do except trying to stay out of the way.

The guards submerge themselves in water as much as possible and their armors are wet, as well as the nearby greenhouses to reduce the damage. All irrigation systems are open at full capacity and there are two constellations of 3 guards under cover that attempt to contain the spirit. The spirit itself seems preoccupied fighting some invisible force and ignoring the soldiers.

Simones sneaks behind one of the fighting guards and hack it causing the surprised and well armored guard to roll on the floor in pain and respond with automatic fire. In the meanwhile, Irris gets in position and has clear shot at anyone in the combat.

Simone does 10+3 net hits -3AP the guard reist 8 damage so it takes 5 stun damage from the axe.
Resist damage: 24d6t5 8
