Noëmie shakes her head "No, that would be weird. A prospective client that just so happened to be accompanied by a medic to treat the STD he didn't even know yet? I was more thinking along the line of having Simone here to inspect the quality of the farm. Of course, it requires that we are able to enter the farm, but it should be possible. Well, I'm pretty sure I'd be able to convince your...boyfriend...to make the call. If I can't speak with his handler getting more could be more complicated, but if I can, it shouldn't be impossible."

"Alright." Kynos replied. Turning to Irris: "I hope you have a good security system on your car. I don't think those Yaks are the best parking space guards."

With that he went to the open manhole and started to climb down.

I open the trunk and gather up my things and toss Yobu his bag as well.  Then I follow Kynos down the hole.

Simone nods her head.  "I agree it would look odd to do the STD thing, but I am equally unsure what to inspect, however I am willing to listen to that and make it work.  I am quite adaptable.  Perhaps the easiest solution is to be Nyx's partner in the buy?"

@Wheely scanning the giant egg you discover a door as you approach it a ray of light scans you and after a long tense moment the door opens, access was granted. As you enters the host you seem to be in some kind of a demilitarized zone, or a mine field, there are multiple inactive attack IC's sprayed along two distinct passes, one is labeled security and the other one is labeled business operation. 

The road to both labels is protected by two checkpoints where chicken shaped patrol IC scans every icon that pass through and to reach any of the inner network you need to get past both patrol IC.

You will need to protect against matrix perception of patrol IC no matter what route you go:  It will take you 2 combat rounds to enter the inner network and you will be scanned once each combat round.

You roll logic + sleaze to avoid matrix perception, (you win on tie) that is if you run silent. If you do not run silent you will be spotted without need to roll.  (I will let you change to silent now if you wish).

If you are detected, you will need to roll hide matrix action:

The IC will defend with:
Defend against hide: 10d6t5 3

If you reached that state the IC are aware that something is bad, and will continue scanning for a while - so give me 2 more sleaze + logic.


If you entered the host non silently - It is a good time to switch to silent running.

@Ayato, Irris, Kynos as you decend to the sewer the men closes the manhole behind you and it is pitch black. You can hear movements in the dark, the pipe only go one way, but if you do not see where you are going you may stumble and fall. The water reach your knees and the stench of rotting flesh is evident.

Unless you have chemical seal, you'll need a survival roll vs 5DV (stun) due to the bad conditions. If you have some way to see in the darkness you need to roll survival once, otherwise you'll move very slowly and therefore need to roll twice. If you have chemical seal - well you do not care much about any of this.
If you all survive feel free to bring yourself to a large pump room with a sign 'clinic' on it.

Seeing the security Wheely decide to push his Smoke and Mirrors program to the maximum. Glitch and artifacts flicker in his vision while his antenna work at full strength to compensate the noise. Finally his vision stabilize and he heads for the path labeled security.

I was already running silent. Wheely also switch his Wrapper program for Stealth for a total of 8 Sleaze and 5 noise which is just compensated by the 3 Antenna + Signal Scrub.

Kynos had turned on the internal air as soon as the integrated gasmask had warned him of the environmental hazzard.
"Let's get through here as quickly as possible. I'll take point. Grab my belt and form a chain, so we won't get lost."

Kynos opened his back and retrieved his trusty survival kit, removing the small flashlight. It wasn't much light but plenty enough for his natural low light vision.
With a bit of tape he fixed the lamp on the side of his helmet.

"Alright, time to move."

@Wheely - you sleep past the chicken patrols and enters the inner security egg, going inside you see three armadas of slaved icons each circling a well protected RCC. There is also a massive antenna icon and many IC programs, patrolling the scene and scanning different aspects of the inner network for intruders, what ever you intend to to in there it better be quick.

@Mulcarn - It is difficult to determine exactly what weapons the guards are holding from the astral but as the place is undefended you can take the time and count the guards. There are 5 guards in 3 posts around the farm, the rest of the guards are nowhere to be seen.

*Now that's interesting, taking down that RCC could be a way to mess with the drones without having to deal with the Antenna or the Rigger. Or at least it could give away his position.*

Wheely don't lose a second and try to pinpoint the physical location of the device.

@wheely you approach the RCC and successfully mark it. The IC move uneasily but do not yet converge. The tracer takes a few precious moments but you are able to close in on an adress in fort Lewis
