I have job to do. She is playing goddess of love and non violence and people like your friends arrive and murder people. They think they can get away with that because they are Shadowrunners. My men are always armed but they operate on self defense."

When you mention the Finnegans he say.
"Finnegans you say... they are tough adversaries, especially their new iron lady, Dame Valentina.  I'll tell you what, growing my entire life in the Yak, it is very simple - whom ever want you dead only wants you dead to mask their own involvement. Follow the murderer and get to the truth.
I had similar problems... Can you imagine my family's shame? I am a goblin born to human parents? They kept me as far away to avoid conflict, but I killed quite a few Yaks for wanting me dead. They banished me to Korea and after several years that was not far enough... I am now in Seattle, where the Yaks are soft and weak instead of ruling the city. It seems that no place is far enough for these people." 


He sighs "Still, easy on the eye or not... You know the rude troll. I saw how he looked at you now.  Was it all an act so he can slap me? You also seemed familiar with the two murderers. Heck... you can be recording anything I say and transmit to them."

Luna laughs an evil laugh, right at Maxwell's face "So masculine... do you really think that you are powerful enough to keep me against my will? That you can knock me unconscious and 'sneak me out'?! You better show some respect if you are looking for answers."

[Mulcarn]

He matches her laugh with his own scornful gaze.  "Tough words for a frail she-elf.  How am I supposed to show respect for a deceitful thief?  You know what, it doesn't fucking matter!  You can come with us willingly to shed some light on all this drek.  Or we find another less pleasant way."

[Shaman_Yuri]

"Maybe I am recording you," I say with a shrug.  "Maybe I'm not.  After what happened out there there," I motion in the general direction of the city, "are you really hiding anything?  Whether you believe me or not, every single thing I've said to you is the truth.  I'm marked for a 9mm brain hemorrhage as soon as the Finegans can pin me down.  You're my best chance at living until next week and I have no intention of letting you out of my sight."  I slink up to him as I add, "Now we can make the time spent together enjoyable," I stop moving as I finish speaking, "or not.  The only way you're not taking me with you is if you kill me."

Ci smiles at Minnie and say "Lets wait in here until they come to arrest me. You see tough I made it look as if I had something to do with the fireworks... In fact I am only a distraction. A colorful persona to give the KE and the cooperations some bunny to run after, today is where that vampire tosses me under the buss. My job is over, I'll be arrested and perhaps released with some bribes or perhaps killed in prison or disappear. I am finished, successful yet I feel so lost, so empty. There are so many evidence that connects me to what happened tonight, there is not even point in hiding he say." When he is done he lifts Minnie and passionately kisses her, it is not long before you both are naked.

Their rates are not very high too, shooting fireballs, blowing up things even killing people... it is nothing but a job in this city."

[Mulcarn]

Maxwell laughs bitterly.  "The only power you seem to have is the ability to annoy me.  I'll stick to my pyromancy if that's all you have to offer.  And I don't sell anything.  I unleash it!"

[Jack_Spade]

A half empty cup of oil/Tabasco flew threw the air and shattered on the ground in front of the woman: "Are you coming or what? Have Athos carry her if you must take her with us. These damn women are more trouble than they are worth - that brings them exactly to the same level as the men, now that I think about it."
With that Kynos was off, running for the car again.

[Mulcarn]

Maxwell sighs heavily at Kynos' display, for he knew that the elf wasn't wrong in his words.  Maxwell looks up at Athos and speaks in more calm manner.  "Look i'm not in a good position to explain right now but I believe that she knows whats really going on here and should be brought with us for questioning.  I can't make you do something you don't want to do and I won't hold it against you if you decide not to."  He follows Kynos back to the car, gripping his chest and wincing as he does.

[Mercy Merchant]

Athos watches his companions disappear then turns to the Keeb.  "Miss Luna, I am one desperate Trog.  I owe what I am to the Finnegans and am now running for my life.  Please, if you know anything about the Warehouse explosion, please come with me and talk to me."

His attention is caught by the images streaming from Minnie's glasses and he puts the commlink away to avoid watching and intruding on her private moment.

I'm confused by Gi's fatalism.  It all seems at odds with what I've been led to expect from him.  Does he have the answers I seek?  I do my best to help him feel fulfilled, but I do still have questions.  I satisfy his sense of urgency, but when we reach a moment of calm after his rush, I press the matter a bit as I cuddle the man.  "You do realize Dona Valentina is running for her life too, right now?  You really have no idea who is behind the mess I'm in?  Maybe you're meekly willing to accept your fate, but I personally would like to be around a while longer."

@All but Minnie - Luna seems to be a bit agitated and what initially fascinated her seems to agitate her now. She leaves for the party unless you physically restrain her she'll be blending in the crowd looking for a front seat at the press conference in no time, before she makes her 'move' she tells Athos ignoring on purpose Knyos and Maxwell  "If you want to talk you'll have to stay in the island. I am not leaving this this place willingly tonight. It is too dangerous in town." You'll have to physically restrain her if you'd like to get her into the car.


@Minnie Gi's stamina is impressive and he seems to be putting his heart to the task at hand. What he lacks in actual skill he makes up with enthusiasm. Snuggled with you in a blissful moment Gi say "I do not believe she is. You said that you are a friend of Strawberry didn't you? Strawberry has an evil twin, a spirit that goes by the name M. She has so much surveillance in the city that nothing can escape her.  Strawberry grows amazing fruits but M, she is the true power behind the Yakuza. If Valentina was on the run, M would have known about it by now."

[Shaman_Yuri]

"Maybe she does," I answer with another shrug that Gi feels more than sees.  "Our best guess is that someone is trying to take her down and we've been caught in a battle between giants.  I would be dead if I hadn't thought fast two nights ago."  I prop myself up on my elbow and look into Gi's face.  "Personally, I kinda like being alive and free.  How can you be so ambivalent about your fate?"

Athos offers his arm to Luna.  "May I escort you back to the party, Miss Luna?"  He sends a message out to the other two.  >>Hey guys, Luna has indicated that she will talk to me if I stay here a bit so I am going to escort her back to the hotel and see what is going on.  You should get Sovereign to a doc.<<

@Minnie Gi sighs "It is difficult to explain, it is survival instincts to you. If I'd follow my survival instincts I would have never lost my hand, nor would I cheat death so many times. I could have a very comfortable life as an aristocrat in exile in Korea, not expected to do anything but keep out of sight. Still a mansion, servants and enough money to burn to last me 10 life times. It was not about survival for me.

I wanted to matter, the Yakuza treated me as a joke a misfit tried to send me on missions secretly hoping that I'd be killed and I insisted to be active. I sold most of my property and bought augmentations, power I wanted to be powerful enough to do things. These last months are the first time I am swimming with the big fish, part of a plan whose magnitude was never done before. This is my chance to matter, finally after all these years, the only certainty in my life is death  "

@Athos the press conference is brief, it was planned to be about the establishment of a new crime fighting unit with capability to cross state borders and unprecedented access to information.  Instead it was an update on what happened in the city, several high profile targets burned massive attack over Bellvue as an EMP took down the drones protecting the city. The KE are walking around town trying to shoot zombies and many of the population are blockaded inside homes and houses. They offer their hospitality to anyone wishing to spend the night and shortly after the press conference is cut short. The VIP's are back to the conference room, the chatter is that the new unit is too little and too late.

"You should teach your friends to show for respect. They have no idea..." She seemed to want to continue but stopped herself and quickly changed a subject.
"I live in Bellevue, place is Mafia influenced they keep it safe better than the KE, so I am not without sympathy to your cause. These zombies trashing the center of Finnegan power will have violent consequences. People that lock themselves in their apartments afraid to go out are not going to pay for protection when it is not given. They might for a while out of fear of retaliation but this is big problems for the Finnegans, it cannot last for long before they are yesterday news... what was it you wanted to ask me? "
