Ok, IC, the reason Sam believes he's a gun runner is cause chino told him he had a memory of them two of them going over a bunch of guns for shipment, correct? Sam has had no such memories, nor has he been seen or named in any BTLs, or recordings other than the security footage of him covering retreat against unknown foes with XM30? Sams gun runner assumption is based on intended meaning from "mom code" and chino's mention of wispy memory, am i correct here?

There hasn't been any hard evidence that Sam is a gun runner. He is an experienced shooter (Automatics, Longarms, Heavy Weapons, Gunnery), and knows a lot about guns (Firearms knowledge skill). The idea that he is/was a gun runner has been inferred from the available evidence, but never explicitly stated or confirmed.

I won't get into which odds are higher than others, but that possibility is still on the table, yes.

I think that after seeing that BTL, Sam is going into FULL denial mode, trying to distance himself from those two horrible men he saw in it as MUCH as he can. His mind, disgusted with the ferocity of this particular truth has decided to run from it, and ignore evidence that supports it. He no longer believes that he and Chino, Doc, or Ohanzee had any contact before this particular job. Why so MUCH contact and for so LONG? Well, this is a helluva big job, stealing something older than recorded history and all. I wouldnt be surprised if this jack was months to years in the making. Yup, Sam was FOR SURE just some hired help for this job who got caught up with the wrong guys. YUP!

Yes, Ace would be conscious, unless he's tired and falls asleep. The data lock is completely independent of all his other systems, including his nervous system.
