Their Status Update a while ago said that with the extra investor money, they're now spending more time polishing things and intend for the closed beta to start at the end of Q1 2014.

By the way, if you want to coerce hints from a demo team agent, try the one that is a moderator over at Shadowrun Universe.

Actually, yes. If I remember correctly from the MUO beta, they had hired people from Diablo 3 to help make the game.

CoH/CoV is closed down now, unfortunately. Champions Online is a joke, but that was to be expected when Jack Emmert and crew left CoH/CoV, and with it most of the actual talent that Cryptic Studios had. For me that only leaves DCUO, but that's ok; Marvel burned their bridges with me, so I switched over to DC a few months back. Yeah, it's run by SOE, but at least you can make up your own character, unlike Marvel's game.
