Since apparently they are not there in 5e (so far) Anyone converted 4e flamethrower rules to 5e?

I was thinking about basically using shotgun flechette rules for their range and spread.

Something like this: acc:4 damage 8p, AP-6, mode FA,RC.
Using an exotic weapon skill, and ammo of 10 or 20 depending on whether it's an in stock fuel drum or a belt or back carried one. And no Recoil.
Ofcourse it would set everything aflame that gets damaged by it per the fire rules.

What do you think?

Instead of using shotgun spread rules, maybe adapt the suppressive fire? Instead of a cone of bullets that damages everything in it unless it hits the dust, it's a cone of fire!

If you look at the preview of Gun Heaven 3, that already gives the Flamethrower rules, simply not the actual stats with range.
