Yeah, there is only one melee especially unarmed melee build in the game. Mr. Muscles, if you aren't a roided out mass of muscles you suck.

Swap the mystic armor for improved strength( 2(3 with focus) and he will still suck, just not as hard.

I disagree on the viability of unarmed in this edition, but Mystic Armor is pretty underwhelming.

I'd dump the mystic armor for Improved Ability Unarmed or combat sense and pick up a Weapon Focus rather than a Qi focus.

Critical strike would be double damage for the points

Critical Strike only has 1 level now.

Sure but you need both if you stay pure adept as the OP is suggesting.  An augmented adept can skate a bit by taking bone density, but that does not work with the brass knucks weapon focus line.  Add  in the improved strength is boosting your limit, is increasing the damage on virtually all melee, thrown and bow damage and boosts a skill or 2 and critical strike at .5 is good but not great.

Attribute Boost Str is horrible for adepts. It boosts your pools - but not any of the derived stats (like physical limit or melee/unarmed damage).

Attr boost Agility and Body are pretty much the only ones adepts should even consider since Reaction won't stack with Improved Reflexes.

Honestly Attribute Boost Agility is the only one I recommend (well in the fringe case of an adept wheelman who didn't have Improved Reflexes I suppose Attribute Boost Reaction would effect driving pools).

Blink. I don't see free runner in this build or back story at all.

I know what parkour is, but he hasn't taken anything like a parkour skill or power set, and it's not in the background write up. If he's going for parkour he needs a complete rebuild.

That'll depend on GM call what you can do with a Gymnastics of 5 and a low running  ... but you're notably missing the two "super parkour" powers Wall Running and Light Body.
