== Description ==
A greying male of average build and stature. he has a short trimmed beard and tends to look after himself, visiting the gym reasonably often and trying to eat well.
He's partial to a beer, likes playing pool and loves flying his drones and tinkering in the garage till the wee small hours.

== Background ==
Matt grew up in a decent enough area and his parents both worked normal jobs and earned normal money.
He graduated technical college but soon after, fell in with the wrong crowd and got wound up in allsorts of trouble for boosting cars, doing drugs, petty crime and the like.
His dad's health took a turn for the worse and Matt promised his dad he'd sort himself out and live clean, really make a go of life. Luckily, KE referred him onto a youth offenders scheme rather than interring him. The crux of the scheme included sponsorship from major corporations, a "corporate citizenship" program if you will, in reality though, this turned out to be a recruitment drive for cheap labour, and Matt soon found himself working for a civil engineering firm.
He progressed well throughout the lower ranks of the company and applied for an opening as a drone pilot, his first "proper pay " job, and got it. The firm paid for his implants and he has worked the role for several years now, his department specialising in exterior building inspection and preventative maintenance.
They performed well last year, hitting budget and his team received a small bonus. Matt invested this into a small industrial unit which he has outfitted to be a workshop/garage. Matt moonlights here to help pay the bills, repairing cars and drones and this line of work has brought him closer to the shadows, as those who don't want their ride inspected at the local ford dealership tend to come to him first...
He feels he has hit a glass ceiling at the company, and worries that his background prevents him scaling the ladder. Even though he earns a reasonable wage, sometimes even moonlighting as a taxi driver and doing a few jobs at the garage wont meet the shortfall on the rent.

Contacts: scrap metal merchant is an old contact from his "wilder" days that he is only recently back in contact with, since getting his garage up and running.
Danny boy has his fingers in many pies and tends to specialise in illegal salvage operations and trafficking stolen vehicles, and is always a good source for spare parts.

Lorenzo plays pool at the same club as Matt, and has helped him source parts and complete jobs beyond Matt's skills.
Lorenzo seems to be a nice guy, and speaks with an enthusiastic Italian accent. He is also considerably better at pool than Matt!

20 questions, not all are relevant so there are a few ommisions

-Lineage:
Parents were Steve and Linda.
Steve died whilst Matt was in his early 20's and linda is now very elderly and living in a care home.
He got his mothers looks, but his father's stumpy legs and long body. Matt is pretty easy going, doesnt get overly worked up about much.

-Parents attitude on character:
Proud he turned his life around from near calamity. relations with his dad were bad for a long time and only partially repaired before he died.

-Intro to 'running: not running yet, but has an impulsive streak and an entrepreneurial mind that got him into trouble a lot as a younger mind.

 -Living space:
His low lifestyle represents a small 3rd floor flat with the usual assortment of flat-pack furniture and low-grade electronics. He has his bedroom decorated with AR and tends to set this to a mountainscape.
His living room features one long exterior wall and this is also painted with AR paint. this tends to be set to a woodland scene. Other than this, his flat is fairly low-key and modest.
Matt tends to spend a lot of time at his workshop. This features a wall mounted fold-up single bunk for late night crash-overs and a very basic food/drink processing unit for nutrition. the bulk of the space is taken up by his 'shop and features a hydraulic ramp and a lot of storage for tools, drones, spares and the like.
He has his walker drone (butch) on sentry duty and is assisted on his projects by his man-servant drone that Matt has retrofitted with autosofts to allow it to work on drones and vehicles.

-Matt is quite reverrant about the awakened but holds no particular strong religious beliefs towards any of the "organised" religions, preferring a "i dont tell you how to live your life, so dont tell me how to live mine" approach.
As far as political views go, he is a liberal. Matt sees the conservative movement as stuck in the stoneage and loathes the far right, doing anything he can to slander their causes.

-Dislikes about the character: tends be always right, even when he isnt. He doesnt't like to admit he is wrong either!

-Views on corps: He isn't really a fan of any of the big corps. he see's them as much the same as the others. Given that he works for a small division of Evo currently, he probably likes them the most given that they effictively pay his rent.

-Story with contacts: Danny boy is an old mate from when he was a wayward young man, boosting cars and doing drugs. both reformed their way out of that hell-hole, with Matt going legit and Danny getting off the streets and into "business", contact was lost for a lot of years, but a chance meeting while scavanging for spares re-introduced them. Lorenzo is an acquaintance from Matt's local pool hall. they've played a few times and shot the breeze over a beer but they are a long way from being "good buddies"

-Free time on a sunday: Matt would spend the morning in bed, playing games, drinking tea and catching up on the world media. the afternoon would feature some pool in the afternoon and some tinkering down at the workshop on the night time, followed by a cheeky pint afterwards as a nightcap.

-Skill set: Matt graduated from tech college and eventually was hired as a civil engineer for an Evo subsidiary. He now works as a drone pilot for civil and building maintenance services and has received extensive training and some implants to aid him in this line of work

-Limits: not afraid to get into a scrap and will defend himself vigorously but not keen on the idea of deliberately harming anyone for cash.

-Cyber: Matt quite likes cyber, and is massively interested in it from an engineering point of view. he respects that everyone has different opinions on it, but Matt is fascinated by the stuff. His was paid for by work, to enhance his abilities as a pilot.

-Nightmares: He occasionally sees his dad on his deathbed and re-lives the horrible period of his death.. this mainly occurs when he is stressed or angry. Matt's most deep rooted fear is that he'll always be stuck in his 8-6.30pm wageslave life with no prospect of change or mobility. Although he's doing ok and reasonably enjoys his job, he is just bored and requires more challenge than it can offer.

-Treasured possession: His workshop. he'd dreamed about owning his own business for a long long time, now it has partially become a reality. its not a fantastic place, and the work only just about covers the rates, but it is his, and he earned it off his own back. that feels good and he'd hate to have to give it up.

-Goals: to be free of wageslavery and be the mastery of his own destiny

-Matt is a fairly stocky build, and tends to wear casual clothing most of the time. His work doesnt demand that he dress up as he wears cover-alls when on site, so he tends to wear standard clothing like jeans/slacks/hoodies/jackets and so forth. He does love his gadgets however, and most of the clothing he owns is AR enhanced or able to change its colour at a whim. He absolutely loves his long jacket however, and tends to wear it most days, as it is really really warm and shielded against the acid rain of the city.
He keeps a greying full beard in check with regular trimming and tends to wear his hair in a loose style with wax. he has dark hair, and is greying but refuses to use dye, as it is "too-girly".

-Nickname, his mates called him "hunter" at school when they were playing games as a fairly un-inventive play on his surname. it kind of stuck and he uses it for his online moniker also.
