I'll post the final description up when I'm done, but yeah, it's more about quality of life and keeping them from being exterminated and such, as opposed to eliminating them. At least, my vision.

I think the idea was an Order to alleviate the suffering of ghouls.

The Knights of Saint Lazarus were knights infected with leprosy, ergo a Shadowrun equivalent related to HMHVV infection should probably be appropriately afflicted.  That's my 2¥ anyway.   ;)
