"Well...  I'm just guessing here, but I think maybe she tried to steal a shotgun.  And seriously, you could've taken the same 'link you used to call your mate there."

[Necrogigas]

"Huh, she didn't strike me as the sticky fingers type. Anyhow, we've been playin' hot potato with these things since we got 'em. The frag am I suppose to keep track of which is which?"

"Well, there's these really handy little things called 'call logs'...  Frag it, I'll have to name the stupid things I guess."

[Crossbow]

"Frag off, Patty, don't even bother, like I said I wanted to go to sleep and now I gotta write your hoop out of my security and get this giant pile of crap out of my workshop, not to mention reset my tamper gas dispenser.  Somebody owes me a hunnert nuyen too."

[Necrogigas]

"Darrell, chill omae. Who the frag pissed in your soy caf?"

[Crossbow]

"That would be you drekhead, or did you not let this lightfingered tusker into my shop?"

The dwarf is wrestling Clem's form out a window.

[Necrogigas]

O'Connor shrugged nonchalantly, "My bad, chummer. Like I said, she didn't seem the thievin' type. I wouldn'ta let her in otherwise." He found Darrell struggling with Clem's limp form comical, "Remember to lift with your knees, don't wanna throw out your back."

[Crossbow]

"So where the frag didja go?"

Sammy had been in the back of the van when things started happening again.
"What's going on now," she asked.

[RHat]

Fionn grabbed the other commlink and showed Sammy the pictures.  "Clem had a run-in with O'Connor's friend.  Also, it turns out that O'Connor's name is Patty."

"Probably short for Patrick or something like that," Sammy said, "do we need to do an intervention?  Flashy fireballs are out of the question right now, but a stunbolt should still be possible."

[Necrogigas]

"I woulda been back already, but I had to circle around. This Azure bitch actually had a brain and took cover, probably called for back up too."

[RHat]

"...  So I was right?  You saw something shiny and got distracted shooting at it?"  Fionn turned to Sammy for a second, and spoke low enough for the mic on the 'links wouldn't pick him up.  "Be that as it may, I don't think I'm gonna call him anything else ever again."

Sammy gave him a tired smile.
"Be careful with him though," she said, "now, what are we going to do about all this.  Maybe we should head over in the astral and check things out?"
