I like the suggestion for making use of Icepick, though none of us will trust him enough to offer a ride. Operator is opposed to shooting him in either event; it's messy, atrocious, and a waste of ammo.

I have heard from LeighFox, and I PM'ed imperialus regarding him.  He is currently...unavoidably unavailable.  That's the best way I can put it.

Assuming Icepick takes up the free ride, Operator would be posing the following general questions.

1) Who hired him to plant the text file?
2) Was Icepick involved with Kusbana's suicide?
3) Is Icepick capable of identifying the three salarymen on the subway camera footage?

Which is why I took the commlink.  If he says no, we always have the device to check the file itself.

Since the subway incident occured 12 hours ago, there's a limit to what we can discover.

So I'm gonna be spending the weekend shoveling rock and staining a deck so I won't have time to post, but I will have lots of time to think about what happens next (the joys of building a yard from scratch).  If you guys want to let me know what your next move is going to be I can do some prep for it and be ready to go next week.

Operator will contact Mark Hans and ask him to enhance the grainy subway video. That may be a better use of his active attention, although there's room for him to accompany the other runners while they visit Kusbana's business partner or widower.

EDIT: I'd recommend we visit both parties simultaneously, and determine if there have been threats against Kusbana or her business by private individuals or businesses.

Ok, so where to now.

I see 3 things that should probably get dealt with.

1) What do you do with Icepick?  Is he floating in the bay or do you let him go?

2) Meet with Jojin-San and see if you can figure out if there was anything going on in Kusbana's personal life that might cause problems

3) Meet with Akio and ask him some questions surrounding the business.

Yeah, I was in the process of posting when you posted in front of me.  And we never decided what to do with him, so I'm gonna post what I'm doing with him considering I'm the only one in the van with him.  And I'd rather he not know where I live, thank you very much.  So you can guess that I'm not headed home.

Rather than belabor the details of how we'll leave Icepick to his own devices, I think it's safe for us to turn him loose at a convenient point and skip ahead to the next day.

I plan on sending Operator to visit Akio, and my own recommendation is for Kozak to visit Jojin-san.
