My Shadowrun group is currently looking for 2 more players to add to our table.  We are currently 3 players and the DM.  We play in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.  If you live in Ottawa and are interested in possibly joining our table, please say so and a meet and greet will be arranged.  We are currently finishing up our 3rd mission, so new characters can join in easily.  We usually play Saturdays around 1 pm until players decide they want to stop (average time is until 7 pm though we sometimes keep going if things are really interesting).  The game is hosted at my apartment.  We already have one player who plays via skype and a webcam most of the time so we prefer that only players who can be physically at the table reply with interest.

The DM has many years of experience with DnD and other table top games.  He has studied shadowrun quite a bit and runs a fun table.  He is creative in his missions and RP.

We have a hacker / demolitions expert , a seductress / face and myself a pistol gunslinger / infiltrator.  Magic is not available in our game however because the DM feels uncomfortable with it for now though it will probably be available at a later time once everyone settles in.  For now he's using his missions / story line to demonstrate how magic works and to better learn how it works himself.

I am interested in playing. Ive been playing shadowrun off and on for years now, but the group I played with is extremely unreliable. I like making odd characters, and I love getting into the roleplay aspect if thats something your group does. I have played just about any class and love to try to fill niches in groups.

as a further notice the GM now feels more comfortable with the magic rules and will allow a player to make a magic user.  Those who have shown interest have been contacted so far.

Hey guys,

I'm the DM for this group. 

@Bardaek:  We already have one player that is on Skype.  I feel that more would be a problem due to technical issues and whatnot though of all RP games, skype is indeed not too bad, given the setting.

@Rapier: I believe I e-mailed you today so we should be able to organize something for you.  We missed last Sat, but this Saturday ( the 11th will happen due to interest etc..).  Depending on Noctem (Julien), should be starting at 1pm.

@Terezar:  Our group is RP heavy most of the time, and I prefer playing with storylines than just bash bang bang myself so interesting characters with interesting backgrounds YES!  I am sending you a separate note now to get set up.  Hopefully you'll be free Sat the 11th of Aug for a game starting 1pm-ish.    We can set up character stuff in the meantime for sure.
