So, while playing around with some of the splatbooks (Arsenal in particular), I came up with a couple of interesting ideas for use with Splash Grenades, that might help out on a 'run.
Let me know if these have been done before, and feel free to post your own ideas.

C2 Splash Grenades (rating X C2, Cleaning 10m radius, Avail 4, cost 20 + (Rating X times 20) each)
A handy tool for the maid-on-the-go, the Mr. Clean brand C2 grenade is a quick, disposable method for cleaning an entire room in a span of seconds. Each "grenade" contains 30 liters of highly pressurized Ultrableach, held back by a safety catch and a three-second timer. Once the timer goes off, the catch releases, spraying everything in a ten meter radius with a wave of "cleaning power." Perfect for daycares, corporate offices, and Shadowrunners who don't want to leave evidence behind.
NOTE: This grenade doesn't actually clean the room, so much as spray it down with bleach. Not for use anywhere sensitive to horrible Ultrableach fumes.

Freeze Foam Splash Grenade (rating X Freeze Foam, 10m radius, avail (X)R, cost 20+(Rating x 4) each)
Want to prevent burglars while you're on vacation? Have to close a road in a hurry, and someone stole all the big orange barrels? Then buy the Acme brand Freeze Foam Splash Grenade! Its guaranteed to bury a 10m radius area in a wall of sturdy foam, stopping entrance, exit, and... generally all movement, really. And best of all, its porous--no need to worry about blocking airways or suffocating innocent people!

I can find lots of use for a K10/DMSO splash grenade, especially combined with an illusion to make it look like someone else did it.
Greataxe - Apply directly to source of problem, repeat as needed.

DMSO/Deepweed has some interesting uses as well as a specialty grenade.
DMSO/Trance can have some interesting uses, but the Reaction "Threshold" for paralysis limits the usefulness somewhat for big fast guys.

And of course never forget the Slick Grenade from Spy Games (pg. 160).

I miss Hyper from SR3. Used to have lots of fun with that one and DMSO. Especially for taken care of those pesky security mages.

Also, DMOS/Pepper Punch (or Tabasco Sauce in a pinch) definitely has it's uses for you lower rung security guards.

Barrier foam (a la War!); instant concrete, what's not to love?

Wyrd Mantis Essence, as an area-denial tool when faced with insect spirits or dangerous awakened insects in general.

If you updated the rules for MAO (MonoAdreniline Oxydase) from SR2/SR3, that would be useful in a grenade-dispensed DMSO cocktail.

Of course, Shrikes.  *scared*

There's always DMSO/Shade. Force everyone in the blast radius to astral project. If you can't figure out fun things to do with that, then you're not trying hard enough.

Personally, I love to make use of low-cost, low-availability stuff to do things

DMSO + Asia
A party drug that causes Disorientation for (20 + 2D6) minutes. Not that good, right? Wrong. It's "derived from a synthetic form of atropine" and has special rules about ODing. In addition to all the normal OD effects, anyone who gets multiple doses at the same time automatically takes 3S per dose after the first. That means 6 doses in a grenade will hit everyone exposed for 15S damage... and at 15¥ a dose and open availability, that's only 90¥... plus the DMSO and the grenade, of course.

DMSO + Slab
At 5R and 150¥ a pop, it's not nearly as cheap as an Asia grenade, but it's instant Deathlike Coma for at least an hour for anyone that gets exposed. Makes me want to play Oingo Boingo every time I think about it.

DMSO + Solvent
Industrial chemicals are treated as toxins with a Force and Penetration equal to their Rating. Rating 6 Solvent is only 15¥ a dose. Only down-side is the fact that using it will probably get you lots of Notoriety, and the Wanted quality, very quickly. You know... since dissolving people from the inside out is generally looked on as a Bad Thing.

Really, DMSO makes everything better... or worse, depending on your point of view.

Petrochem Grenades.  No fuse.

Watch as the security guards look in horror as they realize that their tasers/stun batons/firearms are likely to light them up like a viking funeral!

Non-lethal as well.  ;D

Not to dampen anyone's fun, but you have to use tempo long term for it to build up enough that the dream pact is forced. Couple months, at least.

Oh, yes. All destroyed. Aztechnology absolutely didn't pretend to destroy any and sieze it instead. They're certainly not growing any more with a clipping they they got from the supposedly-dead woman who invented the stuff. We won't be seeing Los Cacotanos take over the tempo trade in the near future or anything.  ;)

....I'm making that a recurring subplot in the game I'm running.
