As the topic says I'm looking to get into some online games. Preferably using virtual tabletops. I'm looking at maptools myself. http://forums.rptools.net/viewtopic.php?p=101222 I have honestly never played tabletop. Ever. But Ive always wanted to. Just never found the people. I read up on the 3rd edition rules just because I love shadowrun. Id have to brush up on them. I even have a couple 4th edition books but never read them. Couldnt summon up the will as Ive never had any luck finding a way to actually play.

I'd love to find a GM running or willing to run a game online with some Virtual tabletop and voip if possible. If not okay. I'm looking to get into at least two games a week. Ive got time. Once I have a reason I'll be brushing up and learning the new rules with a passion. If you are willing to start up a new game or just want some fresh blood feel free to PM me. I'll get back to you within a day I imagine. If not sooner.

Just to update this group is going. I have four confirmed players to inflict my newbie GMing upon. Another possible if the time we settled on, 4PM Fridays, is good for him. I would be open to one more for a total of six if any are interested.

We did settle on Friday at 4pm. Turned out to be the best time for everyone in the group. That is out time for the foreseeable future. if it ever chances I'll update here. And as of this time I am comfortable with the number of players for now. I'll also update chances to that situation.

Alright, I'm out of patience with this. I'm tired of trying to find a GM and eventually just giving up. I dont know how many times Ive went to various forums and communities trying to find a game.. So... Who out there is willing to try and put up with me learning to GM even though I've no experience even with tabletop? If I can get even 2 people who are willing to give it a go I'll start learning and researching. Shouldn't take me more then a week to get ready for a first attempt. I'll probably start out smaller. Probably aim for them to take an hour to an hour and a half. Of course being new there is a chance it could run over which is the point of starting smaller in the first place.

Any interested in learning with me should leave a response in the thread to encourage others and a PM would make sure I notice your interest as soon as possible.

Please note that these games will be using a virtual tabletop. Probably maptools and the framework I linked.

I would be willing to help, I have known many gm's and have game-mastering experience myself. While I don't know the system perfectly, I can create characters in it just fine and perhaps help take some of the load off if you need an assistant of some sort.

(Unfortunately, I've been forbidden from actualy gm'ing a game by all my players. Long story short, I get way to obsessed about it)

I've been looking for a game.  I've only got 4E materials, though, and I'm a noob.

That's perfectly fine. Ive actually already started reading up a bit on 4E. Looks like I at the very least need to read the entire core book. A lot has changed. And Im new too. To table top in general. If you can manage the patience we can learn whats what together. I've decided to just go ahead and prepare to GM. So within a week I should be ready for a first try.

If those interested could list the days they are or aren't available and at what times and zones. That will make things a bit easier.

Well that's definitely enough people. Sorry I didnt notice your response at first Kytanos. Really glad to have some experience in the crowd. I think it would be good if we could all meet up before Im actually ready to run my first attempt at a proper session. I'm thinking skype? Even if you don't have a mic you can type and we can go over what we are all interested in and the sort of feel we want the runs to have.

And of course to make sure we don't despise each other after talking for a few minutes. lol Just to get the ball rolling I'll suggest trying to meet up tomorrow 2pm EST. Some of you may not even see this post before then so of course we can arrange another time. But if it works out for everyone then great.
