Just pointing something out:
Quote from: SR4A, page 161
Armor and Encumbrance
If a character is wearing more than one piece of armor at a time, only the highest value (for either Ballistic or Impact) applies. Note that some armor items, like helmets and shields, provide a modifier to the worn armor rating and so do not count as stacked armor.
Too much armor, however, can slow a character down. If either of a character’s armor ratings exceeds his Body x 2, apply a –1 modifier to Agility and Reaction for every 2 points (or fraction thereof ) that his Body x 2 is exceeded. Note that this may affect Initiative as well. If a character is wearing multiple armor items, add their ratings together before comparing to Body.
Emphasis mine.

Background:
Belial was born in Angkor Wat, the Naga Kingdom. As a young naga, he was captured in the wild, and sold as a parasecurity critter to Mitsuhama, spending most of his time in a MCT facility in Seattle. He endured six long years of this slavery, before the Corporate Court declared that nagas were sapient creatures, to be afforded the same rights as metahumans. Freed from his corporate bonds, Belial was released into Seattle, without even a commlink to his name.

In this way, he was found by a member of the Seoulpa Rings, who was looking for talent for their porn trids. Not knowing what he was signing up for, Belial agreed to be in several trids, in a starring role. The vore porn trids made him enough money to get on his feet in the shadows. A recent addition to the Seattle shadow scene, Belial, now running as Wormtongue, tends to adopt a metahuman form when on the job, partially to be able to use weapons and armor, and partially to avoid the whole business of him being a Naga, which isn't a protected species in the UCAS.
If anyone out there would be looking at any of the more out there BTLs, vore is a kind of snuff film. If your character (or NPCs, in the case of the DM) is the kind who would watch something like that, PM me, and I'll go into more detail about what the trid was about. I'm not discussing it on a public thread.

Quick question theKernel, how exactly would one say your character's street name? I'm not THAT up on leet-speak.

Its ebb and flow like currents and ocean tides 8)
Also how are we doing our rolls? Are we trusting our fellow man to be honest about their rolls or do we have a roll application?

I think it's referring to Encumbrance rather than total armor value, because that whole section is comprised of those two short paragraphs.  Otherwise, it would contradict the previous statement - "If a character is wearing more than one piece of armor at a time, only the highest value (for either Ballistic or Impact) applies"

That is what I meant by it. If you're wearing multiple pieces of armor, you are going to run into heavy encumbrance really fast.

I figure we use this if it makes everyone more comfortable being able to see everyone's die rolls.  http://invisiblecastle.com/

Otherwise, I'll trust everyone to be honest.

Ah, okay then.  I was looking in the core book.  Took me a while, but I found it as Disarm Program.

Either way works for the dice, but I have to say "honor system" is preferable to me. I used to do well with dice rollers, but nowadays only in L5R do I do well with them.

Sorry it took me a little while.  I'm playing a mundane hacker/street sam since we seem to have a technoshaman and a rigger, I sent my sheet through a PM to cabo so there's still a 'lil secrecy amoung us.  But otherwise he's the background that people can find from a deep enough datasearch.

Background:
'Kris' was born to corporate parents, her mother died during childbirth and her father out of grief commited suicide a few years later.  She was shipped to her only living grandparents from her mothers side at the age of 5.  Her grandmother was 87 and worked executive management in an Ares subsidiary; with income exemption, she only went when needed.  Her grandfather was 85, and was retired at their corporate home.  Kris lived a sedentary lifestyle for 13 more years, full of a good flow of corpscrip, and the best education one could buy.  She was a prodigy at the computer, and was starting her first year towards a Matrix Security Certificate, preparing for her future as an Ares Matrix Security Specialist, everything was planned and perfect.

But Lo and Behold, her grandmother discovered that she was homosexual, and being born of the 1990's and ultra-conservative to the bone, disowned her when she was barely 19.  Since she was considered an adult, there was nothing she could do about it, she begged and pleaded, citing current rights, activist groups, and trying to reason with her only living family, but was only greeted with a spit in the face from her grandmother and told, "Our family doesn't accept faggots."; she looked towards her grandfather, but he merely stayed silent and looked away.

Angered out of her mind and nowhere to go, she decided to exact revenge.  Accessing her grandparents accounts using what information she had, she was able to steal almost 300,000 nuyen from their main account, and set out on her own.  Using the money, she got herself some 'ware, the a better commlink, and a place to stay for a while.  And when nuyen started drying up, she started looking into shadowrunning to keep nuyen flowing and to stay off the grid from any potential retritbution from her grandparents.
