A few of us are trying to put together a weekly shadowrun game with experienced role players, big issue is finding a decent GM.  There seems to be a general SR GM vacuum at least as far as online games go.  If any one out there is up for some GMing let me know.

While I'm at it if any of you already have a game going and could use another experienced role player feel free to send me a message.

I think we are hoping to use Skype or the table thing Infrno has or something like that, not necessarily video but at least voice chatting, I have to admit I'm not really up on technology these days.

Hmm, cool, I'm still on the lookout so can you give me some more info? I don't mean to be rude or picky but I'd like to know if you have any experience GMing any system, SR in particular, and all that. Not that inexperience is a deal breaker, I have just had some bad personal experiences with really bad GMs and then felt really awkward trying to bail on a game that was no fun. So when you say "trying to run a game" I'd like more info.

Am I being a bit paranoid here or do other folks have this issue?

Well i have only GM'ed Shadowrun once. I have GM'ed Scion hero,AFMBE,World of darkness,WOD Mage. I hope that enough experience. I really enjoy spinning tales.

The One shadowrun game  I ran ended with the team getting back a DNA drive and causing the crash 3.0

I'm game to give this a try, when can you play and how do you want us to create characters?
How many people do you want in the game and all that? Of the top of my head I know at least three or four other players looking for a game.
Also, I definitely want some info in advance regarding the setting and the types of runs we should expect so I can create a character that fits the game.

I agree, if the GM can't lose him/herself in the story he/she's telling it becomes hard to really enjoy the experience

Well, until we actually get a GM I'm sorry to say that it will be pretty hard for you to play with us, unless you want to GM any way.  I will certainly let you all know if/when we get this up and running.  At that point I imagine we will take as many folks as the GM wants on a first come first serve kind of deal but it will really be up to the GM, pretty much what ever they say goes.

Again we have at least four or five players here so as soon as some one comes along who is interested in GMing we are good to go.

Well Right now I think we should keep it small maybe 3 or 4 players should be good.

It's best if you guys create the characters using the default rules. You create what type you want and I will mold the story around that. Its best if you have good connections in this game because they mean alot in the shadowrun world.

I think folks are probably still up for a game, depending on date/time etc.

If you can give a bit more info on your GMing style that would be nice, I'm all for you creating a game around the characters but it's good to have some info to base my character on as well.

As a GM or player? It seems at least one or two people are considering GMing but I have not really gotten anything that seems 100%, though some folks just haven't gotten back to me.
