How does your group handle cyberlimb accessories especially removing and installing them?  If I wanted to get a datajack for my cyberlimb would that be as hard, harder, or easier than getting a datajack in my head?  What if I later wanted to remove the datajack to make room for something else?

I myself see most accessories as fairly plug and play features of hooking up the accessory to various standardized ports.  On the other hand, I can also see it being a tricky rewiring job for everything.  RAW, I think the accessories are just treated like any other piece of cyberware.  I am however curious as to the opinions of others on this matter.

You can't change out features that directly increase the availability and cost of the cyberlimb (such as customization or optimizations) any more than you can't directly "upgrade" a basicware arm to an alphaware arm.  You'll have to buy a completely new arm.

I assumed they were plug and play. Just insert a +2 STR enhancement into your USB port and close the hatch.

I can't find this anywhere in the RAW, but I'd assume that anyone with Cybertechnology could change options on a Cyberlimb that take Capacity without much trouble. It certainly should be a non-surgical procedure that doesn't require a clinic (A big deal if you have an betaware+ limb and want to change accessories.)

Changes that don't involve capacity, I'd assume you would need to swap out the limb, though I might allow an arm to be customized after being installed as a slow, tedious processes that requires the limb be shut down for hours at a time while it's worked on.

How about changing a Normal Cyberarm to Modular?  It shows a +1 to availability and multiplies cost by 1.1.  Since her arms cost approximately $30,000 so was thinking about $3k each.
This would allow for our samurai to remove her arms and replace them with a legal pair should there be a need.  Guessing one at a time to be worked on but was unsure of a timeframe.

Not quite. Mod Cyberlimbs are only for the hands and feet or lower portions of arms/legs. so you cant fill that part with the stuff that goes into the rest of the limb.  So no, no changing to a legal limb. sorry.
But that would be a cool new tech to make.

Since the majority of her illegal or restricted cyberware is in the forearms area it would still work (left arm - gyromount and right arm - spur/shock glove).
