Here's a couple of custom weapons I built for a character. Comments and criticism welcome.

Negotiations - Modified Ruger Super Warhawk
Firing Selection (Semi-Automatic); Internal Smartgun System; Personalised Grip; Barrel Extension; Custom Look 1 (Huge); Increased Cylinder.
Capt. Jonas Harding frequently (through no fault of his own) sees his negotiations sessions go sour. He calls this second phase "aggressive negotiations." This weapon is built for maximum impact from a pistol. It can be fired twice per action phase with no penalty. It also grants a bonus to Intimidation tests, usually made to end the combat early. If that doesn't work, the weapon can lay down a serious beating for a few rounds before it needs to be reloaded.

Diplomacy - Modified Morrissey Elan
Internal Silencer; Internal Smartgun system; Barrel Reduction; Plasteel Components 3 (assumed to be included in the base weapon); Personalised Grip.
Diplomacy strikes a balance between concealment and sound suppression, and damage output. It has a total -5 Concealability modifier before clothing or holsters are taken into account, and a -6 to Perception tests to hear the weapon fire. It can fire two shots per round with no penalty. I usually load it with Stick 'n' Shock rounds, which obviously modifies the damage and AP.

I like that modified Elan. My runs tend to be more in line with stealth rather than raw firepower. Generally I go for burst capable weapons, but I might take an exception for that, depending on the need.

I'm on a pistol kick right now, as a side effect of the game I'm playing. I'm trying to make myself a few specialized pistols. I think next comes sniper rifles.

My characters tend to run almost exclusively with pistols or SMGs. Every once in a rare while I'll pull out the heavier stuff, but Knight Errant doesn't like folks walking down the street with that, eh?

"Mr. Grouchy"
A .605 caseless over under rifle that has been cut down to carbine size. A dark cherry stock with silvered fittings give a frame to two barrels engraved with rose vines that been died red and green.Despite the size of the rifle and bullets, the rifle itself is silent in operation.

"Mr. Shocky"
A set of steampunk shock gloves, a series of gears on the back of the right hand
seem to constantly writhe silently. By pressing a lever or using his PAN, Lucky
can turn on a Low-light flashlight housed in the geared case that sends a beam
along the back of his right hand.

"Mr. Enforcer"
The traditional synthetic stock and grip has been replaced with an old fashioned dark cherry real wood foregrip and a hollowed powered stock with a matching synthetic casing.The entire weapon has been blacked down and recased to fit the description of an ancient Thompson submachine gun. To add to the appearance, the rifle has roses engraved down the side of each barrel, died in green and red.
The end of the barrel has been ported to increase the muzzle flash put off and make the weapon seem to spit fire when used.
