Mostly futuristic cars but that blimp idea just gave me an Idea for a run.

+1 to you sir!

Electric death traps mostly.  Depends on what streets we are talking about.

All the streets from the Barrens to down town.
From pimped out gangster moblies to scrounger tanks with all kinds of scrap welded on for protection do vehicles have flexable spine for greater manuverability

My personal favorite of late has been the revolution.  "Though it does have it's downsides.  OOPS, my rigger has hacked your monocycle and turned off it's gyrostabilization and you need to brake."   :o

Btw are flying vechile's rare? <.< and if so do they need a liscene? I'm assuming so.... <.< xD

How likely if you have a flying craft are you to be called out if your just going for a nice flying stroll through the stree--- er.... airways in seattle? are you going to have to watch your altitude constantly to not invade corporate airspace? <.< get pulled over and questioned for not being registered? Ect. I'm wondering because I might want to make a character that can pilot / has one.

That and i wouldn't mind crashing into a building just ONCE. sometime in game. xD

Depends on the city and the culture.

Ares is likely a big proponent of "Big American Automobiles and SUVs" (Which are hybrids), for example.  The Ares Humvee Civic being a classic example.

But, honestly?  Probably the most common car on the streets is a Chrysler-Nissan Jackrabbit rip-off (As C-N stopped producing them some time ago) along with other compacts with a pseudo-sporty look, with Ford AmeriCars and other Medium Sedans being a close second.

But, the only thing I can say is it's going to be the same thing that you are going to see with the Ford Crown Victoria.  They just stopped producing them, but because they were in production for so long, people are going to be experts in repairing them.  So they aren't going to go anywhere anytime soon.

The Ford AmeriCar is the Ford Crown Victoria of Shadowrun.  :P

The Mercury Comet from the main rulebook is the Mercury version of it, same family, a little more luxurious.

I call the Lincoln model a "Sprawlcar".  ;D

So you'll see older model C-N Jackrabbits for some time then.  ;D

Exactly.  Heck you'll also see more thefts of older C-N models as well.  Just before the Crown Vic went out of production, we had a major increase in thefts of old Ford vehicles at our hospital.

Chop shops, yeah.

Good thing I typically go for larger vehicles.  It's never a good idea to try and move a wounded person in the trunk of a compact.  :P

Actually, hilarious joke happened at the only game I've played so far...  After...  Um...  8 hours of driving, my character's hoop was asleep from sitting in the driver's seat of his Ares Humvee Civic, so he left the Hacker in there (Who was doing all the hacking while I drove around), and told him, "I'm going for Kaff.  Try to leave the truck, and it will kill you."

As we had just met...  His immediate reaction to the door slamming and locking shut was to text all the PCs of players that didn't show up, "Help, locked in a truck that will kill me by a scary dwarf I just met."  I then suggested that we send that text to the actual players.  ;D

Hopefully that game continues.

That is Awesome.  Good luck with that.

With my luck...  Been hunting for a game for 20-years...  This was the closest to it happening and it almost didn't.

But the GM (Who's here on the forums) is enthused, so we'll see what happens.
