Okay this is going to be very stream of thought and probably more than alittle nonsensical, you have been warned.

Do Johnson's get together and have conventions? Like with seminars and to swap stories?

Do shadowrunners and other people named Johnson get mad at Mr. Johnsons for using their names?

Do parabiologists have a deathwish? Seriously Animal Planet has got to be bloody in the Sixth World.

Is there a Crocodile Hunter equivalent in the Sixth World? If so I want to see that show, "Crikey look at the size of that Juggernaut! I'm going to go poke it with a stick. Oh! He's angry!"

What was the first spell cast by a metahuman? I think something with fire personally, I'm always trying to burn people with my mind.

Is there any more noble creature than the majestic Drop Bear? I think not.

Actually, I have a story about a Mr. Johnson convention.  They have it covered as a convention for assistant office clerks and data entry technicians, the most boring jobs that can possibly exist.

I once ran a wake/dinner party for a Mr. Johnson that was attended by other Messrs. J. and fixers where we just made up war stories about this guy that started with, "So he backs out of his chair and start yelling at this troll who could break him like a toothpick, and somehow instead of turning [whatever his name was] into a red smear that troll just takes a step back and sits back down."

Spontaneously? Yeah, that sounds right. The first spell someone consciously tried to cast that happened to work was almost certainly a healing spell.

Just hitting a couple of these:
"Do Johnson's get together and have conventions? Like with seminars and to swap stories?"

Sticking with the "Three basic types" in MJLBB, I would say Corporate Johnsons likely do have conventions and seminars of a sort, but it's handled in much the same was as all their other business, secretly.  Marketing conventions with backroom seminars about teams in a specific areas and local customs in different cities, that sort of thing.  The other two, it's highly unlikely, outside of "three Js are in the same bar and get a conversations going."

"Do shadowrunners and other people named Johnson get mad at Mr. Johnsons for using their names?"

I would think it's like people who are named "James Bond" or "Jason Bourne" right now.  They find it amusing, especialy since "Mr. Johnson" would definately be known to the public via media representations.  They're are likely even some "strange' people with the last name "Johnson" who named their kid "Mister" to be "original and hip."

"What was the first spell cast by a metahuman? I think something with fire personally, I'm always trying to burn people with my mind."

I'd bet Shamanic, and I'd put my money on something that would eventually be really dangerous but because of their untrained nature, was merely frightening and cool ]if the user noticed thay were the cause at all.  For instance, powerbolting the car that just cut you off while flipping you the bird or manabolting that annoying old woman at the stuffer shack, the one who comes in at rush hour and is paying in pennies.

There is a bit in Attitude that details a show in production about a guy that goes out hunting for various mutant and toxic critters using professional backup, including shadowrunners (pg 67, called Toxic Hunter).

While it might not have been the first spell cast, the history bits talk about how various amerinds broke out of their internment camp that night using what could have been concealment and armor spells. Could also have been spirit assist as well, though.

Nothing is more noble than the might, majestic Moose.
