One other question. Are you opposed to a new stream being created? None of the ones in Unwired are quite the way I want to have the technomancer view the Matrix/his powers. (Going for someone who believes the Matrix connects all technomancers and sprites are "extensions" of the technomancer's mind. He generally talks in "we" or "us" (since he tends to have sprites pilot his drones if he isn't directly in one)) I could use Dronomancer if you prefer though, it comes close

== Description ==
With smaller frame than your usual dwarf, Gibbon is truly monkey-like. He has short, spiky hair, a big smile on his wide face, several piercings in his ears and nose, and a cheerful demeanor that can be both annoying and inspiring. He wears good-quality clothes that are easy to move in, his favourite colours seem to be dark grey and red. He always has a knife or two hidden on his person.

== Background ==
Gibbon was born in 2046 in Seattle and named Gideon Eugene Merrywether II. His father Gilford Brian Merrywether III was a respectable businessman in position at an A rated corporation who was often on the road to make agreements with prospective partners. He met her mother, Ajeeta Kaur Ghuman, lead engineer of a contracted corporation on one of those trips to India. The parents wanted to give every edge to their children so they turned to pre-birth gene therapy, trying to make the child faster and cleverer than others. Unfortunately, the brain mod backfired, causing setbacks in Gideon's mental development. When the parents tried to repair this with bioware, a procedural mistake weakened the child's immune system.

Gideon was interested in his mother's trade but had some problems with understanding details. He also started to study business and negotiation techniques to be able to follow his father in his steps. His main goal was to be an athlete in some team sport. He developed slowly and was still undecided on the future course (to much annoyance of his father) when suddenly, the second crash changed everything.

The whole family was in Bogota when the crash happened, the boy on some organized school trip, the parents at a convention. The following riots tore the convetion center apart, the parents died there. The school trip also went south, some gang stopped it and set it to fire after taking everything valuable. Gideon was lucky as he could squirm through a small opening , avoiding certain death. He was lost in an alien city however with no help. It took him a week to get back to the hotel where his parents had rooms and he almost died three times during that. Of course, with no ID, a week's dirt on him, the guards threw him out on the street.

After that, he had to resort to actions he deeply despised, stealing to survive. His agility and intuitions had him make it through all hardships and he slowly worked himself up, first working alone, then joining a gang, then as a freelance courier and thief again. He got used to the situation and liked the aspect of the "clumsy dwarf" (a common perception) showing everybody what he's made of.

Of course he never gave up the goal to go home. By the time he collected enough money and favors to arrange this, it was already 2071 and deep down he already was a shadowrunner. He is somewhat new to Seattle's shadow communitiy and he only knows the fixer who helped him back to the city.

Physical Description:
Lean, disheveled looking square jawed guy with auburn hair, his blue-grey eyes looks like he hasn't had enough sleep in a while, there is a
definite air of gloominess to him.The only really noteworthy thing about him is that he always wears a tan coloured lined coat that wears buttoned
up when not working with the collar turned up over the lower half of his face, his clothing tastes beyond this vary greatly.

Personality/background
Comes off as rather cold even more so when angry and has a very jaded world view alongside his own self loathing.
History wise? he mainly works for Piemaker in seattle, a nice little group that paid his debts off to Doc Wagon, after Doc Wagon fixed him up a few
years back, shame they couldn't fix his memory.
Regardless, the debt is now with piemaker. who in return, require that he pays them back by working for them (they just take a cut from his
"reward" money) or just paying what they want at the end of the month, he doesn't like the work but doing so does go towards paying off his debt to
them.This situation obviously makes Cookie unhappy, however most of the work he does for them is work that he choose to do, since even Piemaker
don't want to lose an investment oppurtunity.In order to break away from them he started hunting around and eventually got wind of a fixer looking
for runners for another gig, one which may get him enough nuyen to finally break the chains that Piemaker have on him.Sadly that's not his only
problem, in addition to Piemaker he's also got a sellout ex-collegue to worry about, who decided it was okay to sell him out to a blood mage, this
lovely gent is an illusion specialising mage who goes by the name of Padre who doesn't like people "bad mouthing" his good reputation, espicially
when he wants to maintain said reputation. Thankfully even Piemaker consider him a nuisance and so they've taken to making it more difficult for
him to find Cookie simply by erasing every single record they can find of Cookie within a 24 hour period, he still however manages to make himself
a nuisance, Cookie for his part may consider dealing with him eventually.Then maybe he can start focusing on putting himself back together and work
out who the hell he was before he woke up in a hospital bed, but it's not like he wasn't doing that already.....

Oh, as for recommendations; I'd probably recommend Martial Arts if you're going to use melee combat.
Melee is really kind of lousy compared to using a gun, even in melee ranges*; but martial arts maneuvers like Two-Weapon Style (get a second ceramic knife, just to block with), Finishing Move, Sweep or some other fun ones can make it a bit more powerful and useful.

(*: Not saying you shouldn't do melee, I've got a melee combat char too and it's pretty damned fun to play. )

A good point, I am Intending martial arts to be the first thing I go after oddly enough, as I'm keeping blades as a fall back skill for now, alongside heavy weapons(grenade launcher) , all that combined with the quick draw power should keep him alive, until I get a glitch.
