SKETCH ALERT!

Sorry for the lack of sketches. The 4th of July holiday kicked my hoop. But I'm back with a new sketch of Mercedes for our dear moderator FastJack! (P.S. - FastJack, I loved all of the Firefly references in the character bio.)

Quote from: Commentary
This piece took me about 50 minutes; about 15 mins of thumbnail sketching to get the pose right and another 35 to make the final art. I'm actually pretty proud of this one...

Appreciate this Kenshi, never did get around to throwing a character your way on the DS forums when you started there, felt like I was mooching. :D Still feels like mooching mind you!

Genevieve "Noise" Galipolova

Noise is a human, she stands at a shortish 5'5", with a very lithe yet strong frame, augmented through bioware alone. She's of Russian decent and has the characteristics of an eastern Russian (Vladisvostok blood) She dyes her naturally black hair with red streaks. around the temples. Her eyes are a steely grey in colour that have seen too much in the past.

Equipment wise:  Her primary weapons are a pair of matched monofiliment rapiers (note: not epee's, she's not a fencer, you'd be surprised how many people think people fence with rapiers) with very basic handles.  She also carries a heavily modified steyr TMP machine pistol, and has a modified Ares Alpha for more long distance fights.  When running she dresses in the Steampunk line overcoat and corset. She also wears a pair of goggles which provide her with smartlink and other visual capabilities.

SKETCH ALERT!

Sorry about the lack of activity yesterday but I was working on this.

Anyways, here is Nakano's character, Lang Xao

Quote from: Commentary
Sketch time about 40 minutes (5 for thumbnailing poses, 35 for sketch). It was fun to draw a really dramatic pose.

Since your art is awesome I will humbly ask a sketch too! It's for one of my players actually.
The name of the Char is Paul Crown a former priest of the Chatolic Roman Church. Quite tall, around 1,8m, and well shaped as he is used to do a lot of movement. Most of times he wears only a pair of leather pants and nothing more no shirt no jackets. Short black hairs and a sort of perpetual grin on his face. He has a Roman Cross tatooed on his back and an Holy Virgin on his right Arm\Shoulder. Katana as favored weapon and gold cross around his neck as "Amulet".
Awakened Char too... Thanks for your time!

Very nice work so far, tagged for future reference and maybe a "comission".

Well, I suppose I'll throw my hat in.

Fourscore, a Human Face from Chicago always seen with two Hammerli 620S's and his signature "Buzz Off" Chicagoland shirt.
Big ol' grin, lined coat, and proud of his data jack so the hair is flipped to one side away from the shaved spot for it.

I've got a character that I've played since 2nd edition that is ex-special forces from the CAS. I've got a decent picture of him, but he's got a tattoo that is
very unique and I can't seem to do it justice.

If you'd be interested in sketching the tattoo, it's: A Penguin firing an M-22A2, smoking a stogy with an old WWII style combat helmet kicked back on his head. The
penguin has a tattoo on its flap with a red shield and C.A.S. stamped across it.

Tommy "Knuckles" MacMurgatroy.

Not the largest Troll out there, Tommy is a full-time made man and VR eraser (he's a technomancer) for the Leo McCaskill mob.  Fully decked in 1920's style Berwick line suits, FFBA, and a full set of PPP pads (including a helmet "disguised as a wide brimmed fedora with the brim slightly turned up where the horns wrap around) he looks bigger than he really is.  A middle aged troll, his red, oiled ponytail shows streaks of grey which highlight his common charcoal pants, charcoal coat, red shirt combination.

They don't call him Tommy Knuckles because uses his knuckles for much of anything, they call him Tommy Knuckles because that's where he starts when it's time to get out the circular saw and start asking questions.  ;)

Polaris "Hi-Jack" Astrum is a Seattle raised Ork. Well actually he's a Human with the Ork Wannabe quality, being human that close to the docks was starting to get him in trouble with the Ragers, so his siblings bought him some fake tusks and taught him to wear his hair in orkish looking dreadlocks. Why Orks have a human sibling is an odd story.
Even during a run he's always seen wearing his Lennon style circular shades and toothy friendly grin. There have been occasion where that's all he's got on actually.  Fortunately in this pic he's wearing a loosely fitted T-shirt (with a Star logo on the shoulder) and if it's not a bust shot, Cargo Pants. He's pretty scrawny, especially for someone that looks like an Ork.

I've been traveling before, and unable to post. Just by now I saw Kenshi's art, and I must join the clapping chorus: your sketches are really amazing, omae! Keep the good work!
