My current characters are used to being called:

Kraken - Human Technoshaman
Chakan - Human shaman/hacker who follows an Incan belief system (and he belives that the Matrix is the Lower Plane of Incan cosmology)
Fractal - My elf Changeling Face digital artist, who is also know by a lot of other nicknames and monikers (AROsmith, Pygmalion, etc...).

I find this amusing. So he believed that the Matrix was Uku Panchu, and the astral must be Hanan Panchu. It makes so much sense.

Exactly like that. And to be a complete shaman and to have access to both planes, he has an state-of-art Commlink implanted (since this lowers his magic, he thinks he offended Inti in some way corrupting his body). He is the character I play that I like the most (even though he is really poor built in some aspects).

Eh, finding a SINless 'Ray' or 'Jake' is probably going to be a long and fruitless task.  Obviously someone with a SIN using their real name is putting themselves in a hole.
Vic the Cabbie started out as just "Vic The SINless".  Now look at him.  :P

It's dangerous not to pick a street name.  Not because not having one is all that big a deal, but because -- like a real-life nickname -- it just means someone else is probably going to pick one for you.

Hmmm... I don't know how many fellow players' characters would have had a street name of 'dumbass.'

To give a hint on what I'm planning for my next story, the character gets the street handle "Virgin".  :P

Characters that are fun to play are the ones that have the most interesting outlooks. I've never chromed my mojomen before, it was always too out of character for them.

Once busted known aliases become part of the records. John Smith, Slick, Ace, and Lucky are going to hard to find either way.

All I now is my next runner's handle/name will be Ace Rimmer.

I have a line ready too: 'Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back by morning.'

Hmmm, off the top of my head, we have:

Dice:   Human Combat Mage (with gambling addiction)
Sparky: Ork Physad and resident car thief (Unarmed combat and Parkour expert)
Mr.Remington, aka Ricochet, aka Crossfire:  Human Physad (Gun-fu adept)
Loki, aka Hel, aka Val: Free Spirit spellflinger (Norse) who honestly doesn't know what his/her name/appearance should be (Realistic/Mutable form means manifestation can be anything from a Toaster to a Wombrick)

Note, all PC's have a magic attribute. I don't think I've ever played a PC without one....
I'm such a magicist!
