Anyone wonder if there'd ever be a market for that kind of thing in the Shadowrun future?  Run the exercise routine while you do something else over your comlink.

...alternatively, a less invasive mechanism would be to use your comlink while working out, but that takes concentration.
Shadowrunners are reminded that the Fashion Police are a real organization and will they will be deployed at the first sign of defiance.

Actually, I can see a personafix program/CalHot being the rage.  Plug it in, and you LOOOVE to work out!  Program it for however long you want your meat body to get in shape, turn it on, then unload it when done.
There is no overkill.

Only "Open fire" and "I need to reload."

Electrical stimulation of the muscles to exercise them while you're jacked into your dataterminal for your 14-hour workday at the Data Mines.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking about.  I had a variation of it used on me for some therapy after I did some damage to my back and shoulder.

I have a TENS unit. I got a dog not too long after I got one, we got the dog from an animal shelter. He was a wild Leonberger mix that was found out in the desert, not domesticated by any stretch of the imagination. I had been working to domesticate him, but it was a slow process. So, I had my TENS unit on one day after some rigorous physical therapy and my dog came up and ripped it off of me and proceeded to eat the wiring harness while it was hot. It was the funniest thing to watch. I stopped him pretty quick, but I'll always have that image stuck in my head. Fast forward a couple of years and my dog is finally domesticated.

Dietware and Lipo are already on the table, I imagine people go for the options that make them look good without having to sweat more often then not.

A Muscle Stimulator while you're Simming through ASIST would be just as effective, and a lot cheaper.

Massaging Liners in clothing to prevent stiffness for long Decking/Hacking 'Runs would be a good suggestion as well.

I always thought that line was dumb.

I guess a bullet wound really chases the weakness out.

Go ahead, explain that to a Jarhead.  :P

Make sure you have a friend recording it, so we can all see the response.  ;)

I'm not scared of Marines.

Assuming I'm up in my AC-130.

They do have a good joke though, about how 'yeah, we're department of the navy, the men's department'.
