Hey all.  I was at a convention this year and experienced Shadowrun from the perspective of a truly awful GM.  This guy was so bad that it makes me wonder if he ever actually liked the universe, or was just there to torture us with crap storytelling.  I've been trying to track down someone in charge so I can report some decent feedback and criticism (as opposed to a forum rant), but can't seem to locate anyone associated with Catalyst Game Labs or the Demo Missions Team who will reply to an email.  Anyone have an appropriate contact I can reach?  This guy needs to be stopped before it's too late!

P.S.  Okay, despite how bad I'm making it sounds, I know it's not the end of the world if he continues.  He just really sucks, lol.

Nope.  Not at all.  Can't say I'm surprised.  Heck of a way to run a company.

Was this GM an official Catalyst rep, or just a random guy running a game at a local con?

Try contacting the convention organizer?

Honestly this could have been anyone running this session.  From random dude/other con goer, to store/booth employee, to catalyst freelance writer (see random dude) to official demo person either of the con or company.

Sorry you had a bad experience.  I hope you get to give the game another better chance.

Could name the con and what mission?
If you have the debriefing log sheet, it should have his agent number and name on it

Definitely an official rep.  I could forgive anyone walking into a GM situation or even having a bad day, but he was definitely official.  PM incoming, wylie.
