Played SR from release through 3ed and picked it up again recently in a Roll20 game that fell apart... I'm free M-Th 6pm+ EST. I'm looking to play, I've run hundreds of games, but do not have the time to GM one these days.
I'll play whatever the group needs. I do not play silly or useless characters, but strive to play a complete character with advantages and flaws. For example, Adepts and whatever the adept/mage hybrid thingy is are completely OP and I won't play them. I detest min/maxing, dump stats, etc. I cannot stand how MMOs have poisoned character creation with the ludicrous notion of a "Tank" or "Face" or "DPS." Let's be honest. If a person in the shadows specialized in being a "face" then they would handle the negotiations at the meets, and not go on the run itself. Frag that! Those things are dangerous. Last thing I would want is my pretty face on some corp's hit list.
