Background:
I don't have a real name for this character yet but her Fake SIN is Susan Bates. Sometimes known as "Lazy" Susan as her primary way of earning an income seems to be just from winning big at the casino. Like most 6th world gamblers (I presume), she looks down on digitized games and mistrusts 'ware at the table as an unfair advantage. Also like most 6th world gamblers, she'll take any advantage she can get to get an edge on the house or other players . Known for her card tricks, staying cool under pressure, and keeping other plays from getting too heated. When she commits to taking a risk though, she stays steely and determined to play it out no matter how the dice or cards play out. She runs the shadows when she can find a gig that has favorable odds (or at least one she can make more favorable) and loves the thrill of a good run.
Overview:
So I have been wanting to make a gambling character for a long time. Per usual, my initial concept has too many components to work out as well as I would like. Ideally, I wanted a high edge, bioware'd, low resonance technomancer that specialized in face skills but perhaps had some sneaking/matrix capability. I thought this would be cool for a gambler as her bioware would not be easily detectable, would be "lucky," take advantage of computerized games when played, and use sprites for all sorts of tasks (hack someone's glasses to see their hand, helping with calculating odds, boosting gear when needed etc.). It would be difficult to accuse of her cheating, as there is little evidence to her potential tamperings beyond her just being lucky. Her cool card tricks could be used as simple distractions, and use the same skill for pickpocketing/stealing/hiding gear. Alas - I haven't been able to make this character a reality.
Making a technomancer like this in priority/sum-to-ten I just couldn't get to work (though ideas would be helpful if you have any). So I made a mundane version of the character with lots of edge and skills, and a technomancer/changeling version in karma that lacks the edge/skills in favor of some technomancy. I fear the mundane character is more playable, but I would really like a techno-version to work.
Anyone have any ideas of how to bring these two versions together? Anything that could be cut?

This character Surged to not the most maximal effect, however, I liked that she became Nocturnal (as she mostly stays out all night anyway) and has astral hazing (as a way to keep her awakaned gambling comrades from using magic to cheat so much).
