First off I'd like to say I love this vehicle (inspires all sorts of thoughts of a Jurassic Park 3 movie with its looks, team sent into dangerous environment mmm). However it say's 2 person sleeping compartments but seats 10. Is this a matter of two person sleeping compartments but enough of them for 10 people i.e. 5 or it has A two person sleeping compartment so while it can have 10 people on board on 2 of them can be using the sleeping compartments at a time?

Secondly this is the only one that mentions sleeping quarters although a few other have a sleeping compartment for one person and a lot of them have rigger cocoons (want one of those for my mage when astral projecting). Now obviously you could put special equipment sleeping quarters in one of the other larger vehicles (you'd need to really given who this is limited too) but I was wondering is this the closest to an actual RV you can live in since amenities is only for how it looks not a lifestyle equivilent. I've been looking for an RV since I first found the game (core book) and I'm curious if other people think this is the best approximation for that (to be taken with the traveller lifestyle). Obviously I couldn't have one of these but I might be able to modify a preserve with some of its features (remove some seating and add sleeping compartments and the like).

Unfortunately, there used to be a couple of actual RVs in the game. Back in the day, we had the Bison and the Prairie Cat with the Buffalo added in SR4.

Hmmm may need to take a hunt for those and see if i can update them was really hoping there'd be some of the rigger book. The boots are nice though I really like the luxury yachts although I can't see any of my runners owning one a mission involving extracting someone or something from one them is possible, shame most of the boats only have descriptions of what they contain but no deckplans.

Yep but they suffer from a common problem in that the special features (cold adaption, solar cell's, etc) are all described but no info on the rig itself do they have bathing facilities, beds? Going by the stat block they seat 10 people (which is a lot if your talking sleeping facilities for same) and the amenities are all squatter level not low or medium like some of the other vehicles. That worries me, take the Mack Hellhound it say's it has a sleeper cabin even a troll can fit in so no bathing facilities etc yet its a step up amenities wise from squatter to low. Then when we look at the dodge general that does specifically call out bathing/sleep facilities they're both listed in the stat block as special equipment which neither of the other two do (special equipment (bathroom), special equipment (sleeping quarters)) and its amenities are medium.

Which brings me to how these things are defined in the upgrades section. Special equipment p.g. 165 is a catch all term for any special equipment and its up to GM to decide costs (which annoyingly doesn't even have sample ones for the equpiment already given to compare too) and amenities p.g. 169 is the vehicles luxury package for want of a better term to determine how nice the vehicle is to use e.g. luxury is heated massage seats, AR functions, etc. A standard vehicle has low amenities but can be downgraded to squatter (which the airline ones all are) to gain increased seating.

At which point it gets confusing a vehicle count as the equivilent lifestyle for healing and you can live in them as long as you pay the cost. However both bathing facilities and sleeping quarters are called out specifically in the dodge in the description and the statblock as special equipment. So I think its you can live in a vehicle with amenities but you don't have anywhere to wash or sleep properly unless you have them as special equipment in which case they're at the level of the amenities. Confusing rule match up here but that's how it reads to me amenities is how nice the car/truck/boat/bike/plane is, special equipment is if you can sleep/bathe in it but the hellhound does specifically say it has a sleeper cabin but doesn't mention it in the statblock.

So the airline may technically be an RV but its the equivilent of a coffin hotel or squatting in an abandoned building no beds, no shower, no cooking facilities. It gets worse in that it apparently has been downgraded to squatter amenities saving you 100 yen and upgrading its 6.6 repeating seats to 10 (you need that weird number to upgraded the seating by 50% as per the increased seating upgrade or maybe you want 9.something and round up?) There's apparently no bathing facilities or beds since the only one to have that is the dodge and its also called out as having medium amenities and sleeping quarters both in the description AND the stat block. Which means living wise the dodge is the equivilent of a nice little condo whereas the airline is sleeping in a rat infested building or coffin motel and the hellhound is maybe sleeping on a friends couch?

Google image search is your friend.
Our team has gone on a few sea missions including Free Taiwan (provided deck plans were a joke google won the day) and Ghost Cartels (no deck plans provided, so google won the day with excellent ones for the Junk the Pok Guy and the motor yacht the Yinhe).

I've been doing some google image search for a gazillionaire's pleasure yacht and a cruise ship, both easily found on the google.

Considering the piss-poor state of the runs in Ghost Cartels (i.e. barely defined and usually no maps, plans etc) google has saved the day again and again with useable warehouse, apartment blocks and even the Kowloon Walled City (before it was demolished).
