5 Must Have Camera Drones
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iX8p_a-eFA

Just like every runner should have a ranged weapon, and a melee weapon, and a commlink.  Every runner needs a drone.

Any drone/camera, + google glass/smart phone (commlink) , and ye could be having a second set of eyes, or several, on your position.

Each drone has a pilot program (+autosoft clearsight), that should be able to assist you in a teamwork test for perception.

Cause hey, walking down the street and gangers roll up on you out of the shadows from behind a dumpster = perception test.

But walking down the street with a MCT-Fly Spy or Flying Eye covering your position at an altitude of 15m = (pilot 3 +6 clearsight) 9 dice Teamwork test + perception test + (Motion Sensor/Ultrasound Sensor) to detect improved invisible mages.

Have the fly spy follow your GMC Bulldog while yer on a run, to make sure no one is following you, or is about to place plastic explosives under it.
the best way to defeat a monster, is to give it what it wants, and then run like hell.

The Quadrotor is basically a Rotodrone. It depends on how your group wants to flavor it.

Yes.  Keep in mind Drones run by non-hackers/riggers are really obvious to anyone in AR, which is pretty much everyone.  And vehicles have their own Sensor and Autopilot ratings too.

That said, pretty much any A or B resources character should grab a couple Micro or Mini-Drones and just consider them disposable.  And anyone with a decent Logic+Sleaze should be running them when possible.

Yep! No reason why a shadowrunner wouldn't have one on his toolbelt for working. They're cheap and useful, though you have to spend a bit of money on sensor upgrades and autosofts if you want it to run well on its own pilot programming. Better effect would be to take a couple ranks in pilot air/ground/Walker or whatever and pilot it yourself from AR on your commlink.

Also keep in mind that a group of cheap micro drones with cameras make a great early detection system if you're going to be stuck somewhere you're not supposed to be for a while, such as letting the decker do his job and get that paydata that makes you rich. A street sam I ran with had minidrones that she would use as suicide bombers, she would scoop out the innards leaving the camera and motor and load the remaining space with high-ex, nothing more satisfying than blowing a transport chopper full of HRT Ares troopers to kingdom come for a little less than a month's rent.
