One thing you might consider is the use of the intended gun. If I'm loading it onto a drone than the possibility of being hacked already exists. If I'm using the gun over long distances or from considerable heights (such as shooting between high rises), wind conditions are more likely to come into play. Wireless does not need to be used to help negate penalties from wind conditions.

The thing people seem to rail against is being wirelessly active. I don't really understand it. Most runners carry multiple guns and would have no problem picking one up off a body if needed. So what if a hacker wastes his action trying to digitally disarm you? Plus, think about all the boons you are getting. That includes being able to dump the mag on a gun an enemy wrestles from you. If you really start having issues you can carry burn Comlinks with slaves rfid chips wrapped to appear to be a gun. When they go after the "gun" you now know what is going on and can act accordingly.
