You're right about biofeedback, but I don't assume that I'll need the second configuration unless one of the targets goes VR. This is my combat configuration if things go bad.
I'll post my actions once I've checked whether being surprised is helpful only for regular defense tests (in which case I will use brute force and shoot at the things) or also against matrix defense (in which case I'll try to hack them).
Is it possible to hack the pilot system itself and change the orders it gives to, say, the four drones? Or is everything running hard-wired?
