Slobbertooth spoke to the team over comms while he moved to cover behind one of the pillars in the undeground garage, "Torrent, use your stick n shock on the drones." Slobbertooth wheeled around the pillar and fired another burst with his new HK Urban Combat at the Thug that had already been wounded but wasn't unconscious.

[spoiler]Slobbertooth can move up to 12 meters to get to cover.
Simple Action: Take Cover - reset recoil.
Simple Action: FA Burst at Thug 3.

6 Agility + 6 Automatics - 1 Recoil = FA Burst [9]: 11d6t5 3*
Damage Code 8(11)p - 4AP, -5 to dodge from FA Burst.

*I forgot to include a -1 penallty to the pool from wounds, but all of my hits occured int he first 6 dice, so I'm not really inclined to reroll it. The average hits with 10 dice is still greater than 3, anyway.[/spoiler]

The third, somehow really slimy looking thug was hit hard and staggered backwards but didn't fall.

The electro-ammunition worked like a charm: The crawler drone started to smoke and deactivated itself.
It's sister model recognized the threat and unleashed a hail of bullets quite accurately towards Torrent.
The two remaining attackers also seemed to have no regard for anything refined like tactics: They opened up with their Ingrams as if their bullets were close to their best before date...

Slobbertooth blinked to activate his smartlink, adjusted himself to it, and wheeled and fired on an armed thug to put him out for good.

As the thug unloaded the hail of bullets, Krestov stood there like the wall of troll he was, simply bouncing the bullets of with his shield.  Figuring he had enough, his legs coiled for a brief moment before springing into action, causing the big guy to leap forward.  Planting his left foot, he swung his right leg behind him, rotating into a full spin whilst extending the right leg, executing a hook kick and driving the heel across the thug's face...

Krestovs Opponent clearly hadn't expected the troll to charge him. With a heavy "BAM" first his head connected with the trolls foot and only moments later with the cold concrete floor of the garage. He twitched once and lay still.

Scary was not fast enough to avoid the hail of gun fire completely, but his armor prevented it to become more than a bruise.
His opponent wasn't so lucky: The explosive ammo hit dead center on the man's breastplate and sent him to the ground.

Now the only thing still active was the small drone with its assault rifle. It was fast, moving with the speed of electronic data processing, but still it was no match for Slobbertooth's speed enhanced by wolfs gifts: Another burst ripped through the drones paltry armor.
Yet it stayed operational and turned its baleful ocular towards the new threat.

But before the thing could do anything at all, Torrent had squeezed the trigger of his Guardian and sent a bunch of bullets into the high density battery pack of the drone. In a spectacular conflagration the energy storage ignited and sent plumes of acrid smoke towards the ceiling.

Just before anyone from the team could say anything a deep howling filled the air around them.
Suddenly the garage was full of shades - grotesquely deformed shapes of metahumans gained semi-substantial form. Burn victims, partly made of burnt flesh and ash gathered around the fallen forms of their attackers.
With savage fury they began to unleash their anger, pounding the humans, rending their meat and ripping their limbs.

The gruel mockery of a troll advanced toward bnc's prone body and Scary Spice, his eyes like little smoldering coals.

Suddenly the old ork Sunkid was between them and with a bellow he called out: "OY, YOU'S GET THE HELL AWAY FROM THEM'S OR I'S BEAT YOUR ASS DOWN THERE MESELVES!"

The shade hesitated for a moment and quickly turned back towards the other fallen. All in all it took only a few seconds before the phantoms dissolved, leaving behind nothing more than a few splatters of blood and some utterly destroyed equipment.

"You's only got to show thems who's boss."

Torrent was still aiming his gun towards the nightmarish  forms, trying to stay calm and pick a new target when suddenly  Sunkid gave his own rendition of    the classic "Gandalf" speech.


"OK old man, gonna have to teach me that trick some day.But for now we should get the hell away from here!"

Slobbertooth looked over the HK Urban Combat, judging it's performance in this encounter, and then looked over at Scary Spice.

"So are we going to give him back his stuff, or what?

The battle was over before bnc could even react. She only woke up to go online to see that nothing was left. After she made sure the threat was over, she turned back to normal mode with the intention to go back to sleep or talk to the others.
And gave a lout shriek, when the first thing her open eyes saw were not the trusted shapes of Krestov, Slob and Torrent but those of these terrible tortured souls. Pale as a sheet of linnen, mouth wide open, bnc crouched back a few inches, shivering. For once, she didn't say anything wiz at all.

The Sunkid grinned at Torrent: "The secret's me charms. I's got so many loads of it that even ghosts gets afraid."
