Hmm,  I think "Survival of the Fittest" would have made for a good example for a "Prime Mission" series.

Yeah, it's something that's been planned since before I took over Missions, back during Season 3.  Originally the idea was to produce a bunch of high powered missions that took place in Manhattan and Denver, allowing Season 2-3 characters to revisit their old stomping grounds.  Now it's sort of morphed into something a bit more nebulous (Though the first Prime Mission, Killing Pawn by David Ellenberger, does revisit Manhattan .
