From the relative safety of his Roto-Drone hovering high above the Seattle streets, Moto watched the video feed from Romeo-1 currently broadcasting from within Novelty Hills Sleep & Eat. Up here, far out of visual range of even most augmented metahumans and with his drone's armaments disguised as weather sensors, the only current and somewhat ironic threat seemed to be the damp breeze leaving an acidic film on his mechanical shell. The ork prostitute had led Johnny to the door of Room 312, and he'd seen the chatter about cameras downstairs. Suddenly, what the Captain was doing struck him like a lightning bolt out of clear sky, and he immediately broke comms to prevent the fool from rushing blindly into what he should have very well known was there.
//Voice transmission to Baron Mojo, Captain Cormac
//"Cormac, Mojo, hold up! Three ork gangers waiting near elevator in defensive posture, affecting bored demeanor, but armed and likely dangerous. Recommend hanging back until Johnny makes entry; watch your feeds, people, I am being paid to be your eyes and ears; suggest you use them."
//End transmission
With an audible click for added effect, Moto cut off the transmission just as the voice translator finished vocalizing his thoughts.
He enlarged the feed from Alpha-2, in position high above the secondary entrance in a similar pattern to Alpha-1, and reviewed the scene below him. The Baron, paused at the threshold of the door, looked like he was speaking to the Captain.
"Come on, you fool. Stand down! Should warn Johnny..."
//Voice transmission to Johnny Juju
//"Captain potentially about to make contact with rearguard gang members through secondary entrance; recommend assuming alert posture just in case. Perimiter remains under control."
//End transmission
Reviewing the search data he'd acquired while keeping one eye on events and a virtual finger on the virtual trigger for his sniper rifle, he then prepared a cursory text message to the team.
//Compose message to Baron Mojo, Captain Cormac, Count Zorro, Johnny Juju
//"Cursory research indicates no hostility between Komun'Go and Choson Seoulpa rings. Different areas of business with little to no overlap; may in fact be business partners. Discovered Choson Seoulpa has interest in Matrix crime; commlink likely contains incriminating information, evidenced by payment from Johnson for "simple" retrieval. Either way, believe it is unlikely that Komun'Go would take out Oxycode if Choson was interested in him."
