Currently working as a Private Investigator and magical troubleshooter, Sam Mercer is a former Ancient go-ganger, born and raised in Seattle. Disillusioned with the gang life, Mercer did time as a felony inmate, but the Crash of '67 gave him a chance at a clean slate. Currently, Mercer works the shadows, which in turn pays for his pro-bono work among the SINless and those that need a helping hand.

Plex L2/C3 - A fixer that Sam has never met. Communicates only through comms, and always uses different avatars. Unknown if male or female, or even biological.
"Joker" is a fixer (C2/L1). Joker never appears in person, but prefers to stay out of the limelight, communicating with you via commlink at all times. Joker usually leaves a video message as an animated jester outlined in neon red that makes quick erratic movements, just imagine Max Headroom.
