With Dunk at the helm and at full tilt Knives untangles himself and takes a seat letting the frigid wind clear his mind.  Once the fog in his head has cleared he will pull out his Medkit and works on his throbbing throat and sinuses.

As Mantis waits to hear for the watcher checking for tails he give Knives the good news. Ya I've download the data I just wish we had more time. I could have gotten more info and started a few dummy searches to make the bobbies have to think what info we got away with.

No sooner had you created the watcher spirit than its form was rent apart by an unseen force.
This act confirmed what you had already suspected, the wage-mage had called in backup from the astral.
[spoiler]you forgot the -2 for working in poor conditions, ie on the back of a moving boat :-). you drop 1 hit for a total net hit of 2. so two stun boxes healed.
Your bike hasn't got the co-ords. you never chose a specific one with dunk, so you'll need to RP that[/spoiler]

The bouncing and rocking motion of the boat puts you off your work. The haze and disorientation of the gas was beginning to clear but it was still enough to hamper your efforts to think clearly.

Dunk was still jacked into the boat, broadcast a voice-cast to your comms, his thick scottish accent punctuating the jovial-but-edgy tone. You can tell he's clearly glad to be on the move.
You clear the underside of the bridge at a fair clip, with dunk swinging to the left to avoid an oncoming barge. Several bridges lay ahead, and then much further into the murky blackness lay the English channel and the North Sea, on the far side of the Thames HydroElectric and Flood Prevention Dam (known locally as "the barrier").

I knew it that wage mage has something fallowing us. I best try and give some distractions to what ever it is. Mantis needs to get their drop off point. Hey mister boat driver I need to know where we are going to dropped at so I can arrange for a pick up. Oh ya and I would like to let you all know we have some kind of astral tail on us. I'll try and deal with it but I can't be sure my magic will destroy what ever is on our tail. So we might have a hot drop off same as the pick up. With that Mantis starts to way out a plan as he hopes Dunk will give him the info he needs to get his bike into position.

With Knives voicing up that he wants to go medieval on this astral spy Mantis decides to try and get him to help out in another way. Wait Driver don't tell me where the drop off is you and and my partner have a text conversation. I got an idea I want to try. Mantis makes two comm calls one to One to his Tailsmonger he know is a full mage and one to the only other person he thinks can help Glen Finagin. The plan is to get both these contacts to aid in an astral battle against the tail.

The boat swings around gracefully and the engine tone ups slightly as Dunk prepares to hit the wake of the passing barge. The wake unsettles the boat and throws Mantis about a bit.
As dunk swings the boat around to due east ready to pass through the New East Crossing Motorway Bridge, you spot a convoy of flashing reds and blues on the right bank, heading the same way as you.
//I wouldn't worry about your drop off point now mate, take a look to your right. Now tell me if you want dropping off over there?
I dunno about yuu lads, but I'm thinking we need to get well out into open water before we even think about landing. We need to get through the barrier before those fuckers can close it.
And get that fucking tail off us soon. That's Scottish for right fucking now..

Mantis does his best as he sub-vocals his comm link one more time to call his two contacts. Luke you better be able to help out here I'm doing this job for you. Well ok for the nuyen and work too. I Also hope Glen can give a bit of aid too. Mantis grabs his stim patch from his pocket then places it on his arm. The drugs take effect right away, if it wasn't for the gas he was breathing from a can opener from hell he would be as good as new. Not sure how long it would take to get his contacts to get a small army of elementals to help him Mantis decides to try dealing with the threat himself as he tries to get a line to his contacts for support.

 With the spirit of the man call forward not wanting to waste any time Mantis goes right into his first order.
Man spirit I'm in hot water I need you to stun bolt any thing in astral space fallowing me. With the command given to his first aid Mantis wastes no time and focus the mana in his body to create his first watcher. Expelling out mana he tries to get a small biting astral puppy.

The fresh air begins to take the edge of the stinging in your sinuses and eyes. Everything itches less and you feel more like yourselves again.
The anti-histamines from the medkit have begun to kick in, and the emergency eye-wash really helped to settle down the inflammation from the CS.

Drake in a can no Luke. I got to set up a astral trail team with my fixer where I help others on their run and they help me. As Mantis thinks over plans for the future his mind is snapped back to the present with the Elemental ready to geek him and his cohorts on the boat.
