Isn't the roll for a sprite my dice vs their rating? So I'd need 4 hits? Or is it the sprite rolls 3 dice?

The sequence for compiling a sprite is the same as for summoning a spirit:
Step 1. Choose type, rating (maximum twice your Resonance), extra powers (eg. Machine, force 3, Decrypt)
Step 2. Roll compiling test: Resonance + Compiling + modifiers (eg. dice pool 15, 5 hits)
Step 3. Sprite rolls compiling resistance with Rating dice (eg. dice pool 3, 2 hits)
            You get tasks equal to net hits (your hits - sprite's) (eg. 3 tasks)
Step 4. You resist Fading, DV equals two times the number of hits on the sprite's resistance test.
            Damage is stun if rating of sprite is less than or equal to your Resonance, or physical if rating is greater than your Resonance.
            (eg. your resonance is 6, so the DV is 4S)

@Farothel: if you get a look at Cookie you will notice that he is in good health, no cyberware or essence loss(we all should know what that suggests) and the fact that he is awakened as well as carrying a weapon focus.
Emotion-wise he seems calm.

no, I'm just being rusty with the system, I'll just pull this here, next time I'll put them in the IC thread, I was juggling a lot of things last night, also couldn't recall if I was allowed to use this on other players except npc's, long story and I didn't prompt Chrona enough when I mention in the IC thread that was looking at the room again(also didn't make it clear that I meant the occupants).

Silk's an adept with a small amount of essence loss due to implants: eyes, ears, hair and something small inside her chest. Depending on when the assensing's done, you might notice her emotional state (pretty much neutral, with small amounts of annoyance) doesn't really match the way she's behaving.

If it's written I can sometimes make out the meaning (4 years of Latin at school, plus knowing a lot of French help here).  But spoken it's limited to 'Dos cervesas por favor'.    Maybe if you start using whole phrases, but if you just use a word here and there, or if it's just swearing, I wouldn't bother.
